Femi, on why should you show up for the National Rejoin March on September 23rd in London He and I, along with many others still being announced will be speaking on stage We are Rejoiners and we are the majority so let’s make it huge! @MarchForRejoin
Femi@Femi_sorry

Why should YOU show up to the #NationalRejoinMarch on 23 September? ⬇️ ⬇️ Because MILLIONS of people simply can't afford to keep paying for Brexit. So we can't afford NOT to make people talk about it. @MarchForRejoin

@ImaginativePlay @GillianKeegan Only 3% I’d funded and even that is an average. Works out to be less than 2% for us. 😢

@PieCorbett It's not fully funded. A huge chunk has to come out of existing school budgets.

@darrengrimes You are the 15 year old in the hairdresser photo still. And maybe the same person from year 9.

@Emmsibo Mine aren't as organised but I have various school bags from different eras crammed with the best worksheets. I've never looked at them. Some of them are vintage bags now! I need to Chuck it all out.

To the people who have been teaching 25+ years like me, do you still have ring binders full of worksheets? I need a firm nudge to chuck them all in a skip.

@darrengrimes Just what is your Grift? What do you do? Who is pulling your plonker? Tufton Street? You'll look back on this period and be embarrassed.

@RogersHistory I think amongst a certain demographic there's pressure NOT to have kids because of the world. I've had dinner parties with them. (Unless that's what she said because she intended to leave him!?)

Do you think there is still significant subliminal and overt pressure on ppl to have kids in our society? If you have them, do you think this impacted you deciding to have them at all?

@WhistleblowingT Not anonymous but I have some tips for New Teachers in September. 1. Hang around the photocopier. Chat. Notice their photocopy code, write it down, use it. Target SLT who have loads of copying credit. 2. Get a key for the boiler room. (Be nice to caretaker), smoke in there.

Remember this; Corbyn was 1 step ahead of this 4 yrs ago. Red Tories squatting in Labour to maintain status quo for the Establishment are to blame for this & everything else. They threw us all under the bus when they blocked Corbyn frm no10 #CorbynWasRight theguardian.com/politics/2019/…

Our NHS is on its knees. And now big pharma companies are trying to squeeze another £2.5 billion a year out of it, by sabotaging a key medicines pricing deal. We can’t let the NHS be broken beyond repair – take 30 seconds to sign the petition & urge the UK government to step in

@darrengrimes Often think of my grandad who served in Navy during War. He lost many friends, was lucky, bombed but survived. How dare politicians allow this travesty, absolutely shameful to the memory of every single soldier who has defended this territory and those still doing so.

I'm glad that all teaching unions have now called off planned strike action. Our fully-funded 6.5% pay award is the largest in over 30 years and allows us to work together to give our children the best education possible. 1/2

@GillianKeegan But it's not fully funded is it? As you well know. The first 4% is fully funded the rest is to be found from existing budgets. 2.5% to be found by schools.
