If this is what you get after a sensitivity test, you have options . 1 Record as sensitive 2 Record as resistant 3 Give it to my senior to sort out 4 Check the primary plate for a possible mixed growth and repeat sense or subculture for purity. What would you do?

🧫Haemophilus influenzae: 🔴Resistant to ampicillin (= AMP) 🟢Sensitive to amoxicillin-clavulanate (= AMC) 👁️(induction of susceptibility by clavulanic acid is seen) 🪧Nitrocefin (beta-lactamase) test = Negative. ⁉️Cuál would be the mechanism of resistance???
