Dad has been stressed of late says it’s because he’s had something called an interview for a promotion at that place he disappears to when we sleep but now he’s been successful it can only mean he can buy more treats & holidays for us 🤔🥰

@skumWgmi My parents were from the Silent Generation. Mom didn’t work, they had a cabin on a lake & took trips every summer. Two cars (1 was always a Cadillac), raised my sis & I, comfortably. They paid my college tuition. Dad retired at 55. I’m glad they can’t see me struggle.

Boomers bought homes on one income. Sent kids to college debt-free. Retired at 60. Then pulled up the ladder and told millennials the problem was streaming services. THE AUDACITY IS GENUINELY HISTORIC.

Seriously want to apply for some of the orange haboob’s slush fund & give it to teachers, fill the Little Free Pantries in town & buy supplies for animal shelters. If I can’t beat the fuckers, I’ll rip them off.

@Imhere4Apolo I’m not lol it’s my first go at going home grown , got to be better than supermarket , I’ve grown tomatoes and peppers before but never full on veg patch I’m sure there will be mistakes along the way but costing £80 a year including water had to give it a go 👍👍
