I don't think you guys realize Susie probably doesn't grasp the metacontext Ralsei was going to give her. Dark Worlds are weird, so she probably thinks that it's just more of that weirdness. Ralsei was going to give her genuine context, while Flowery probably breezed over it

@TemmieOrSmth99 But I do believe that including Undertale characters in the Deltarune storyline is just hindering Deltarune's overall development. This isn't really about them. They’re there because Toby decided to include them, but they would be better off as set dressing.

@TemmieOrSmth99 Berdly and Noelle are Deltarune characters, so including them as Lightners makes sense. Berdly's reduced plot importance also makes sense, since the aborted weird route only involves minor dialogue changes, and writing around an absent character would be challenging

Seeing these references of Sans replacing someone who’s been erased really makes me see Sans’ shop in a different light. It’s Grillby’s, but his name has been erased, and Sans just slapped his onto it. Oh my god. It was in front of us the whole time.

I don't get Gaster's deal because Deltarune is something he clearly cares about and has spent an incomprehensible amount of time perfecting but he's also letting all his little demon kids and pets mess around while giving lovecraftian knowledge to clowns and small business owners
