Odsonne Édouard has made an incredibly selfless decision ahead of the 2026 World Cup 😮👏 Édouard is eligible to play for Haiti, who have qualified for the tournament for the first time since 1974, but has turned down a call-up as he hasn't represented the nation before 🇭🇹 🗣️ Speaking after he helped Lens win their first trophy since 1999, he said: "I wouldn't feel legitimate playing in the World Cup because there were players who fought to qualify and I wasn't going to show up at the last minute to take advantage. "Quite simply, if I'm going to play, I have to deserve it." 👊 It's every footballer's dream to play at the World Cup, but to look at it the way Édouard has is commendable 🙏

Hi everyone! I've decided to leave my role as a First Team Scout at FK Pardubice after 1,5 season. It was a fun ride, helping out with numerous transfers and see the team rise from 15th last season to 8th this year. Thanks to everyone from the club, excited for what's next!

Being honest, even though I have been preparing myself for this moment, I found it hard to write this letter. After 20 seasons , many people have played an important role in my career. When I first kicked a ball as a child in Pamplona with my schoolmates, I never imagined the amazing journey ahead. I’m grateful for every moment: the wins, the tough losses, the challenges, and most of all, the people I’ve met and the friendships I’ve made along the way. To my teammates, coaches, and every staff member at all the clubs I’ve been lucky to be part of, thank you for helping me grow as a person and a player every day. Wearing the shirts of CA Osasuna, Olympique Marseille, Chelsea FC, Atlético de Madrid, Sevilla FC, and representing my country at the biggest stages has been a true privilege.
