@JackTomo7139 @Chiefs We do. I’m a lifelong Chiefs fan and a Swiftie. This post is horrible and embarrassing, and not because they’re supposed to be bread puns or relate to Taylor. Where are the puns? Where is there any effort? Look at other teams’ schedule releases. This is an F-

@daniellelafave_ @Chiefs We get it. It’s just stupid. There were few actual puns, and it looks like this was done in 30 minutes. Taylor is somewhere cringing right now.

@tonylovasco @QuintonLucasKC That citizens shouldn’t pay for public park swing sets? I don’t have kids. Should I not have to pay property tax for schools?

@KCPaulHens @QuintonLucasKC Is it 100% funded by the additional tax within the special assessment boundaries? I remember getting a letter a few years ago with my street car assessment. I didn’t know anything about it. Looked it up, & they were off by a block.

@QuintonLucasKC Yet, in our town, our rail (streetcar) is not publicly funded. It should be paid for by everyone, like highways and roads.

@PeteMundo @tonylovasco I think Tony’s point is that government should stay out of business and they should be able to be open whenever they want. But Tony would complain about paying overtime for the additional LEOs required, me thinks.

@tonylovasco Cities can opt out of the 23 hours, as I understand it. Is that not correct?

Don’t forget the whole reason Kansas and Missouri legislatures even gave the option to allow bars to stay open 23 hours per day is that they wanted to justify spending nearly $100 million of your money on the World Cup.

@QuintonLucasKC @Chiefsdynasty24 Make this law: KCPD must keep all video of an arrest (including stop, investigation, and detention) at least until the criminal statute of limitations has passed. Seems logical, right? Destroying video after six mos or a year appears sketchy/unethical when the SOL is 3 yrs.

I respect fun. I respect freedom. But, Kansas City doesn't need bars operating 23 hours. I've introduced an item that would leave bar operating hours to their standard operating times (3AM some; 1:30 others; etc) during the World Cup--rather than 23 hours permitted by the state.

@QuintonLucasKC @BlackThanos22 why not let the bars increase income during the WC? tell me why not? REVENUE used to be an incentive. now wielding power seems to be the gig.

So just disregard the new law that Missouri lawmakers have passed that allows these bars and restaurants to temporarily extend their hours and sell alcohol for 23 hours a day during the World Cup?? I didn’t know a Mayor could override state law, sounds something like authoritarian dictator would do.

@CygnusSlaughter @TheRabbitHole @elonmusk Unfortunately, you're wrong. They are doing well because they are undercutting American wages for jobs that businesses really don't want to pay American wages at. They are doing well because they infiltrate hiring teams and only hire their own ethnicity. It is all fraud.

@KrownCityKing @MargoMartin47 @POTUS @SLAPs_BBQ I’m with you. I own a small business, & I would NEVER kiss that ring. I would take that opportunity to tell that disgusting egomaniacal sociopath that his approval rating is as low as his IQ. Plenty of good ‘cue in KC. Me: No blue hair, no nose ring, straight, top 1% earner.

Many Americans today have mixed opinions about Barack Obama. Some admire him, others criticize him. But for those of us who come from outside, the reality is often different. Believe it or not, no American president has ever left such a strong impression around the world as Barack Obama. He embodied hope, respect, intelligence, and dialogue. He represented a powerful image of America: open, inspiring, and close to the people. For many of us, Obama was not just a president; he was a symbol. A symbol that everything is possible, that social background, skin color, or personal history should never be limits. He restored confidence to millions of young people around the world. He spoke to the world with dignity, calm, and responsibility. He knew how to unite instead of divide. No matter the internal political debates, internationally, Barack Obama will forever remain one of the most respected, loved, and admired American presidents. His legacy goes beyond borders. And his name will remain engraved in history.

@olabrownnee @PatrickMahomes so baseball games have a ceremonial “first pitch” where before the game starts. usually this is done by a figure important to the city, which is why patrick mahomes threw out a pitch for the royals. he also was a high school pitcher and was even drafted to the mlb

@InCoggKneeToe @swifferwins 96.5 the buzz! they were an alternative rock/indie/softcore rock but post syndication it’s a sports channel. The “oldies” rock channel isn’t half bad it’s 98.9. Gets a little hurtful what they consider oldies sometimes but that’s a me problem 😂 93.3 for pop/top40 type stuff
