@Dragloncon @LadySuzuhaya0 @moriartyyh Oh, of course I know that 21st adds a lot to Friends character. I also liked a lot the background behind that certain kid, and Manjome's conclusion. But I think that the other revelation about his identity denies Hattori's character and the clues that were given before.

@InKGh0st @LadySuzuhaya0 @moriartyyh 21st is what makes friend good lol. Just because you cant restructure your entire interpretation of Friend doesnt make it bad 😂😂😂 easy ass analysis. The difference is that the physical perfect edition release has another twist on top of the original.

@LadySuzuhaya0 @moriartyyh True,' The Milenium Dudes' will always have a place in my heart. But, it's weird how he forgot the clues he put in Kiriko's words, Manjome's Flashback, the 2 scenes in the lab, the Expo and Pope arc, etc. 😢

@LadySuzuhaya0 @moriartyyh I don't think Friend's story is confusing. It's more like an awful retcon (if you include 21st Century Boys). I think Urasawa really messed up the ending. But even so, 20th Century Boys is one of my favorite mangas. So I just ignore the problem about his identity.

@moriartyyh Like atleast with Urasawas other mangas like 20th century boys the backstory for characters like Friend is confusing but Monster is probably one of his most straightforward stories
