Thoughts people - is this ok or overstepping professional boundaries?
Harrison@Harrisonfw_

@Aidan_Baron @j_stokesparish People often post these requests on community FB forums. “Hi I’m an u/grad midwife and I need to follow x number of pregnancies through my degree, including attending antenatal appts, the birth and post-natal. If anyone is willing to help please let me know”

@j_stokesparish Interesting concept. I haven’t heard of any guidelines. When I did mine it was all via meeting mums in person to build the relationship. I like @kaye_rolls suggestion of social media groups that are specifically for expectant mums

Twitterverse - any guidelines on undergraduate students recruiting pregnant women using social media (to meet their placement/training requirements of continuous care births)? #midwives #midwifery

@InSituSteph @SParnis Thanks Steph. Numbers are starting to drop as lockdown bites in. Hopefully the load on hospital and HCW cases will drop soon too. Keep enjoying the sun and freedom up north while you can

As an emergency doctor in Melbourne, fatigue is settling in. The political blame game isn’t helping. Well said ⁦@SParnis⁩ learn the lessons look to the future there is a job to be done. theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

I'm pretty proud of this program - not only does it bring the energy and enthusiasm of youth into our workplace but it gives all of us (ahem...long-tenured!) clinicians a reminder of the unbridled excitement of stepping into the world of healthcare for the first time!

Brothers, Phoenix and Cooper, attended Mater Education's High School Health Adventure program in July, encouraged by their mum who works in radiotherapy. Read about their experience here. #matereducation #vocationaleducation #careergoal mater.li/HSAP

The poll results: elephants. Somebody voted for just COVID and has probably unfollowed me already. Here's a few baby elephants in the mud and rain just to set the tone, then older elephants fighting because they have just met on twitter.

I didn’t think 2020 could get much worse. I’d loathe to be any of those making that call but this 🇦🇺High Court verdict has me 💔😓#Pell

#covid19 and #SocialDistancing has got me thinking of all the things I took for granted. For me it’s the gym, enjoying my cup of tea sitting at a cafe, job security, regular in person catch ups with friends. Would love to hear others 👇 #whatitookforgranted

I am confident enough to say that we are almost home. One of the last planes out of South Africa as they go into lockdown. We have boarding passes. It’s been an interesting week of cancellations and changes in plans and flights through Kenya and Botswana now home for quarantine.
