I visited MB Luxe for Rao Bahadur. This was my first experience in this screen and it's good. I really want to talk about the sound man it's only 5.1, but the surround experience was amazing due to its small auditorium size. The screen is very small, but sitting in row B would be fine and Projection quality was just fine for that screen size, nothing extraordinary. The seats are just okay compared to the VIP screen.

Managed to catch the first half of The Odyssey at Eros IMAX. I wanted to visit because it's the only Laser IMAX in Mumbai I hadn't been to yet. I felt the screen was really small, but because it has good steepness you can get good immersion if you choose seats in rows H, I, or possibly J. This auditorium has a really good ambiance, but that's also a main concern. The stair lights were reflecting a blue hue on the screen, which significantly ruined the image's contrast. The entire cave sequence in the movie was messed up because of this. After this, I watched the same movie at Wadala IMAX and felt that the sound was far superior there, with much more hard hitting bass and clear instrumental separation. Since this is the only IMAX offering somewhat affordable tickets, you might consider it

Happened to visit IMAX in Sky City, Borivali. One of the widest Imax I've visited with great FOV. Sound is good but bass felt to be on the neutral side, I watched Moana may be that's why. Seats are not that comfortable to sit on. Overall a cool experience

Flew 7212km to experience The Odyssey IMAX 70mm in BFI IMAX London. So much to process. If you wish to understand how 15/70 film looks like - it’s the sharpest projection I’ve ever seen. It’s so NATURAL. As sharp as how you’d see yourself in the mirror. Every scene with Charlize and Matt Damon were tact sharp - incomparable with any DCP I’d seen. Colours too, few shades of blue and green I don’t think I’ve ever seen digitally. Film projection exists outside the confines of pixels, bit-depth, compression. Combine this with the GIANT GT auditorium, the 1.43:1 ratio which swallows your vertical FOV. That’s IMAX. That’s the promise. I get it now. Truly grateful to have been able to finally experience something I’ve been so passionate about

Glad I visited EPIQ at E-Square, Pune. Before anything else people of pune just rush to this or Dolby Cinema to get best of the best experience for The Odyssey. I am telling you no IMAX can justify what these 2 screens offer. Coming to my experience, let's just talk about what impressed me the most. It is the sound signature that this Epiq has. It has balanced audio tuning and I can say it may be of studio grade. Excellent surround sound with great precision. Also, the bass is not unbearably hard every time, it just hits at the right time with the right impact. Before this I watched in Pune DC as well, there the sound was just excellent. Here, it comes really close but just has less bass impact than Pune DC, but I wouldn't complain because it delivers where it's needed but not all the time which I really loved here. Coming to the picture, it is sharp and bright. But contrast really is a concern here, as I watched this and DC back to back the difference is clear. However, we couldn't just blame Epiq for that, DC's technicalities are next level. Also, exit staircase yellow lights were reflecting on the bottom corners of the screen, which impacts contrast much more. Audi has good steepness and screen is of good size. I booked for G15, it has good immersion but later I switched to two rows below and immersion was great. Overall a really good experience delivered by @epiqcinema Thanks for @_mrchaturvedi @AbhijitJoshi87 for hyping this Screen and it delivered 🔥❤️.

3 reasons why India deserves an IMAX 70mm screening of #TheOdyssey 1. We’re paying as much in Digital (2-2.5K) as people are paying for 70mm overseas. (~$20-25) 2. We’re becoming the largest market for Nolan films outside of US. 3. We have these projectors sitting idle :( @IMAX

@suhaasya I haven't visited pune imax, but pune imax is of 60ft wide and this is 59ft wide. There's no much of differencein screen size but this one will deliver better sound than pune imax for sure.

Round 2 at India's Largest IMAX Miraj Cinemas, Wadala 🔥, the second watching gets even better 😍. And that sound was just so heart thumping, can't get enough of it. I chose E18 but it was not that immersive compared to H25 when I last watched Avatar The Way of Water. If you want better immersion just choose centre seats of F,G,H in this screen and you'll go bonkers for sure.

Had a great experience at India's First Dolby Cinema City Pride, Pune. I was skeptical if it would be a small screen but it's of a really good size. I watched the movie from two seats, H12 and J8. Immersion was great from J8. I was able to see slight bars from H12 as it is a hybrid screen not perfect flat screen, but it is not much of an issue. Steepness is good and much better than Allu one. Enough of the Auditorium and let's get to my experience Coming to the picture quality, it's the best among all the IMAX's I visited including CoLa. Contrast is so deep but it doesn't mean that the shadows are crushed, shadows have ample detail and bright than any other content I've watched. Also sharpness is so good that texture of their armor is clearly visible than the IMAX and also the wide shots were great. DC couldn't go wrong with the brightness, it so bright with better controlled highlights. Sound is forte of Dolby Cinema for any movie, here it proves once again. Excellent hitting of bass, super vocals and clean instrument separation. When I watched in Wadala, Audio is not that great than Lower parel one. But here Pune DC surpassed Lower Parel audio as well. In Imax the bass is so punchier and couldn't concentrate on all the other instruments playing also the few surround sound elements were not that noticeable, may be I sat very close to screen in IMAX and that's the reason. But in this DC I got the best of everything. Only thing I can nitpick was in 2 or 3 scenes I felt the image was a bit warm and skin tones turned yellowish green tint. This is not the first time I noticed these type of skin tones in Dolby Vision grading. But it's not of a big deal, you won't even notice it much. It's much of a issue with the grading than the DC it self. And I am gonna watch the same in Allu DC again to get myself the clarity on which is the best 😅
