@AskJoshy @RKRigney If I see an ad for a game in the wild, or on a stream, I might go, holy crap that looks awesome! But seeing it crammed in next to 40 other games, it needs to STAND OUT in that kind of show environment. You have to know you have an 11/10 trailer to even hope to compete.

@AskJoshy @RKRigney I have $200 allocated for new games. I see 5 in the genre I enjoy all presented side by side. I can only buy 3 of them. There are going to be clear winners and losers directly showcasing them next to each other. Even if they are all excellent.

@RKRigney I'd... be surprised on that conversion. As you pointed out people are looking to buy games... which also means you're directly competing against *every* game that's being showcased there. Those views in a vacuum? To that audience? Good. In competition...?

@InVerumGaming Two things: 1) Conflating impressions with engaged views, more like $0.16 per view (YouTube ad logic—Elon confused everyone about this when he rebranded tweet impressions to views) 2) 7k copies on a $60 game is totally possible from one showcase of this size
