@_Hinkypunk @ElectionMapsUK @Moreincommon_ So am I and find it very easy to believe.
The vote share that has increased for Labour looks to have directly done from Lib Dems, Greens and others. Quite plausible given that a lot of Greens are former Labour voters or members who see Starmer as too right wing.
English

@ElectionMapsUK @Moreincommon_ I’m a Labour member and even I don’t believe this.
Andy Burnham is not the messiah.
English

Westminster Voting Intention [Burnham as Leader]:
LAB: 30% (+8)
RFM: 27% (-2)
CON: 20% (+1)
LDM: 11% (-2)
GRN: 7% (-4)
SNP: 3% (=)

@wheatfrom @PolitlcsUK Just a quick note to say the odds have shortened to 1/2
English

@jeremiah_spuoph @PolitlcsUK I don't have an echo chamber and haven't mentioned it to anyone. Going on results of people polled.
English

@InakiWells @PolitlcsUK Rejoiners are not as numerous as you would like to believe, otherwise Boris would have been hammered in 2019, stop kidding yourself your echo chamber is not representative of the country as a whole.
English

@Clare1069888 @PolitlcsUK If a party explicitly has it in their manifesto then of course you can
English

@InakiWells @PolitlcsUK Can’t just vote for another referendum, at best they can lobby for more integration with eu
English

@InakiWells @PolitlcsUK Someone in his camp has obviously made an early large bet in order to influence the odds.
Let’s see what they are after a week or two.
English

@wheatfrom @PolitlcsUK That's not true. Labour is 4/6 favourite to win the by election.
English

@WillHayCardiff People who vote for a nation of sanctuary, do not like right wing anti immigration bollocks.
The Tory vote never drastically increased in Wales because people who voted for them were the same each time. Same with reform. They will be playing for the exact same vote next time.
English

@WillHayCardiff What all those in the comments are missing is that those who did not vote Reform this time, will not vote reform.
There is no question of Plaid messing things up and those voters choosing reform, it won't happen. They'll go back to labour or another party. They hate Reform.
English

No one seems to be talking about the fact Reform didn't have the result they hoped for in the Welsh election.
They fell well short of what they said they'd get.
They only got 29% of the vote.
You can't be the voice of the people if over 70% of the people demonstrably don't want you to be their voice.
Why do you think Farage didn't show up? He doesn't want to be associated with falling short. We saw this when they lost in Caerphilly last year, he was no where to be seen.
English

@AdverNewsAT Aled, can you tell us when parish counts will be happening?
English

@AdverNewsAT How is he going to do that? They are not the largest party, still could be I suppose.
English

@AdverNewsAT Good coverage Aled. Really have got a niche as the fastest person to give results from Swindon counts.
English

@KiddsL47940 @mrsdepp_head @DaleBebster @Sargon_of_Akkad @WarIsComingNow Reform and the Tories are going to cut eachothers throats in Swindon.
You are correct, it is a bellwether town and as with the country there is less than 50% of it that vote to the right. There are now two parties competing for that vote, which there has not been for a decade.
English

@mrsdepp_head @DaleBebster @Sargon_of_Akkad @WarIsComingNow Swindon is usually described as a bellwether constituency. It’s not becoming left leaning. You’re not going to see lots of people voting for the Greens . This is going to stay as a 2 party dominant town. Mark my words.
English

@ChappellDa48340 Feel sick that there are 57 people in Swindon willing to represent Reform.
English

Swindon Reform UK, We are standing 57 candidates in the all our local elections on May 7th.
Swindon deserves better, Swindon needs Reform

So many people are saying that Andrew looked like he’d seen a ghost when he was released (optically) from the police station earlier yesterday. What if he saw someone he wasn’t expecting, because that person was supposedly dead.
Reminds me of when secret service hauled Hillary Clinton into the side of a black van with handcuffs on, and as soon as the door opened she didn’t want to go in. Who did she see in the van.
Andrew definitely looked shocked and scared yesterday. The question is….what was he told and who did he see.
