The duality of being an immigrant - yesterday I matched into my top choice Obgyn residency. Today I'm waiting tables at our restaurant.

USMLE- if you just want the money, I'd rather pay the 1k to get my license than have to waste my time/pride sitting through this exam

Quite honestly not sure why step 3 is even a thing. I'm an OB resident who does 0 off service rotations, my last "medicine" rotation was in 2021... Why am I out here answering questions about aortic dissection and BPH? Remind me how that makes me a better doctor for MY patients?
