Disney has cancelled their deal with OpenAI.
They planned to invest $1 billion into the company and let Sora have access to AI generate videos of characters from Disney, Marvel, Pixar and Star Wars.

It’s tragic because Unreal Tournament players made all sorts of iconic custom games that you can still hop on today, and the creators of that series made a game with far more tools and much less barrier to entry and it seems that people just aren’t using it for what they want

The idea seems to be that someone, somewhere will use the excellent tools given to them in Fortnite to make something that will be as popular as the game itself but I don’t know how you get around the money incentivizing people to shit out survive the brainrot or whatever
