Under the “Health & Safety Initiatives” of the Income tax department,Ahmedabad,Gujarat, medical equipments comprising of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), First Aid Medical Kits, Ambu bags and Digital BP Monitoring Machine were distributed by Shri Satish Sharma, Pr.CCIT, Gujarat for installation across offices and residential colony of the Income Tax, Ahmedabad. The other senior officers of the department were also present on the occasion. Dr. Devanshi Patel (MD, Anaesthesia) provided hands-on-training on essential life-saving techniques, including Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR, to enhance on-site emergency response capabilities, and also demonstrated use of Ambu Bag and AED (Automated External Defibrillator). The O/o Pr.CCIT, Gujarat has launched a new community welfare initiative to provide relief from the scorching heat to commuters and pedestrians on Ashram Road. A makeshift manual cold-water dispensing unit is operational on the footpath of Aayakar Bhawan, Ashram Road, Ahmedabad. This noble initiative was envisioned and suggested by Shri Satish Sharma, Pr. CCIT, Gujarat, Ahmedabad, reflecting a deep commitment to the well-being of the local community. It is a humble effort to "quench the thirst" of the hundreds of citizens who navigate the scorching heat daily. To ensure convenience for the public without hindering the flow of traffic, the station has been positioned for easy, unobstructed access.
