CCIT (International Taxation) North Zone, Smt. Pallavi Agarwal organised a Mega Outreach Programme titled ‘Bridging Borders, Building Trust’ at New Delhi on 28th April, 2026. The outreach aimed to raise awareness among stakeholders of the provisions of the new Income-tax Act, 2025, the Income-tax Rules, 2026, and the new forms, with an emphasis on International Taxation, Transfer Pricing, and Advance Pricing Agreements. ➡️Member (Legislation), CBDT, Sh. Prasenjit Singh, in his keynote address, emphasized upon simplification, decriminalization of the Act & ongoing efforts towards trust-based, data-driven compliance. ➡️Pr.CCIT (International Taxation), Ms. Monica Bhatia highlighted certainty, consistency & credibility in tax administration. The outreach event was also graced by Pr.CCIT, Delhi, Sh. Anand Jha. ➡️Session on creating awareness regarding the new Income-tax Act, 2025 and the Income-tax Rules 2026 was conducted by Smt. Kalpana Singh, CIT (HQ) O/o Pr.CCIT (International Taxation). ➡️Over 150 stakeholders participated in the outreach which included tax professionals & practitioners, industry experts including Tax Heads of MNEs and officers of the Department.
