I recently turned 18, and I built a game called +1 Squish a Dumpling Escape that grew to 50,000 concurrent players. I want to share what's been done to me, because it's still happening. It started when two people, "li" and "moha," hacked me. I joined their discord activity which then downloaded a microsoft edge extension that ratted my pc, afterwards They got into my game and broadcast vile illegal content to all 50,000 players under MY name — deliberately, to get my game banned and my account terminated. It worked. My game was taken down. My Roblox account was terminated. My Discord was hacked and disabled. I lost everything I'd built, overnight. I fought and slowly clawed my account back — only to discover they'd already reuploaded my game on an account called "royal rife," renamed their 90M-visit game to match mine to fake the timeline, and then DMCA'd my ORIGINAL game off the platform. Then it got personal. NSFW images sent to my email, forwarded to my friends and my family. My Twitter banned too. I am the original creator of +1 Squish a Dumpling Escape. I have every log, every timestamp, every archive. I'm 18 years old and I'm not letting people who did this walk away clean. A Roblox developer behind a game with 25K CCU was reportedly hacked, and the hacker allegedly added illegal content involving ''#'' into the game.

@zaydworks Horrible retention means players arent coming back, which means ur game isnt enjoyable to play wether you like it or not The algorithm switch now priorotizes games with long term retention, meaning that genuine games get pushed out more compared to short term retention games.

Overnight, roblox murdered my game including others. A new ceiling has been raised yet again. Roblox development is becoming more and more competitive. Games that are meant to be played once, gets flamed by the algorithm. Retention is now heavily priotized. Horrible retention doesn't equal bad, and there's always demand for it. After the algorithm switch, many games have dropped in ccu. Is this the future we're aiming for? The updates that has been rolling out are questionable. #roblox #robloxdev

I feel like everyone is misunderstanding the 500 Highly Engaged Player requirement on Roblox games. They don't have to be highly engaged in YOUR game, just 500 players join your game who are highly engaged on the platform in general. To prove they're not bots. I have a game with 9 ccu that already hit the requirement lol, you can easily achieve this with a couple $ in an ad for one day.
