But the plan backfired spectacularly. The shopkeeper, momentarily stunned, quickly regained his senses, overpowered the attacker, and forced her out of the store before she could steal anything. CCTV footage of the dramatic confrontation has gone viral, showing how the jeweller’s quick reaction prevented a major theft. Police at Ranip station have now launched an investigation to trace the woman and identify any possible accomplices. Despite the attempted robbery, no major injuries or losses were reported.
