Across open grasslands and savannas, cheetahs define the rhythm of speed and survival. Built for precision and daylight hunting, cheetahs shape prey dynamics and reflect the health of grassland ecosystems. Their survival depends on landscapes that remain open, connected, and undisturbed. The future of cheetahs lies not only in protecting the species, but also in conserving the grasslands that sustain life across these landscapes. A year ago, our armed forces displayed unparalleled courage, precision and resolve during #OperationSindoor. They gave a fitting response to those who dared to attack innocent Indians at Pahalgam. The entire nation salutes our forces for their valour. Operation Sindoor reflected India’s firm response against terrorism and an unwavering commitment to safeguarding national security. It also highlighted the professionalism, preparedness and coordinated strength of our armed forces. At the same time, it showcased the growing jointness among our forces and underlined the strength that India’s quest for self-reliance in the defence sector has brought to our national security. Today, a year later, we remain as steadfast as ever in our resolve to defeat terrorism and destroy its enabling ecosystem.

The Cabinet today approved several important proposals that will directly benefit citizens and further accelerate India’s journey of growth and development. These include: 💠 Approval for 2 new projects under the India Semiconductor Mission, which include India's first commercial Mini/Micro-LED display facility based on GaN (Gallium Nitride) technology and a semiconductor packaging facility. The projects will strengthen India’s position as an important player in semiconductor value chain, including in manufacturing, packaging and advanced materials. 💠 Approval for Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme 5.0 to provide credit guarantee coverage to eligible business borrowers in view of the situation in West Asia. 💠 Approval for development of a state‑of‑the‑art Ship Repair Facility at Vadinar, Gujarat, marking a major expansion of the national ship repair ecosystem. The project will lead to skill development and creation of jobs. 💠 Approval for Mission for Cotton Productivity which will help achieve self-sufficiency in Cotton and competitiveness in Global Textile Markets by 2030-31. This will benefit farmers, support the development of high-yielding climate-resistant and pest-resistant seeds, deploy modern farming technologies, and promote sustainable fibres. 💠 Three multitracking projects approved which will expand the existing network of Indian Railways by about 900 Kms. This will significantly enhance mobility, improve rail connectivity to several prominent tourist destinations and facilitate transportation of commodities.
