@IndependentBic2 @BikeBizOnline @marksuttonbike @KerryMP This is very bad news for UK bicycle importers and could seriously dent the current cycling boom sparked by lockdown. Potentially good for British brands such as @CoticLtd @atherton_bikes and Geometron though.

@carltonreid It’s real Carlton. 25% tariff on bicycle frames and forks and rims and selected components from USA. How EU decided that bicycle frames were an appropriate levy target because of dispute between aircraft manufacturers? The irony.

We have just signed this. The cycle to work schemes are great for employees and the people that run the scheme but not so good for the bike shops. We welcome a review. Hopefully amended administration would allow for fairer distribution of funds and more people cycling.
