18 first responders hospitalized (2 in serious condition) after responding to a suspected overdose of 4 people in Mountainair, NM. When EMS arrived on scene yesterday, they found 3 people dead and 1 in serious condition. First responders began experiencing symptoms of nausea, headaches, and vomiting. Victims were placed under quarantine in the hospital while local HAZMAT teams have attempted to identify the substance responsible, so far they have been unsuccessful. Officials report that the substance is not airborne and there is no further danger to the general public.
