The Tulane Brain Institute partnered with the LCMC Healthy Brain Initiative at the 2025 Walk to End Alzheimer’s this past weekend. We had a great time talking about brain research & health while raising awareness about Alzheimer’s disease. @Tulane @alzassociation

I understand and applaud President Trump’s desire to address this issue and to support HHS. HHS should release the new data that it has to support this claim. The preponderance of evidence shows that this is not the case. The concern is that women will be left with no options to manage pain in pregnancy. Louisiana is in its worst whooping cough (pertussis) outbreak in 35 years. 368 cases this year, including two infants who have died. Since last fall, 63 have been hospitalized, 65% infants. Most hospitalized were not up-to-date on vaccines. 

The DTaP/Tdap vaccines protect against whooping cough, as well as tetanus and diphtheria, which also remain dangerous threats to children. These vaccines are safe, effective, and life-saving. Talk to your doctor about any questions you may have.

People objecting to hepatitis B vaccination apparently have never treated patients like this. Their life ending with a terrible liver disease or else requiring a transplantation. This is about preventing illnesses like this. I have the experience of treating patients infected with hepatitis B at birth, who end up terribly ill like this. Why would anyone want someone to end up like this?

@AmericanAir I just don’t know what y’all wanted me to do if I didn’t have a credit card to fall back on both my partner and I are in grad school and cannot afford extra expenses like these. It’s presumptuous to assume that anyone could’ve just forked over almost $1000 worth of extra expenses

@AmericanAir Unfortunately, it has been almost a month of back-and-forth with American Airlines and my credit card bill that I had to put these massive expenses on , $773 for flight and now a $105 for hut international call to yall are due and I cannot afford it because of y’all’s mistake.
