While I appreciate this direct messaging gesture from US but when President Trump said, “If they need any help, they know where to call. They call right here. We are doing well.”, It sounded a bit misplaced because in recent times India hasn’t really felt this sentiment in its relationship with US. Hopefully as a country we may not seek help but seek partnerships. But as of now from visas to green card to being called a dead economy to being endorsed as a hellhole to tariffs to lopsided FTA has all been a challenge.
