In 2024, the India’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was the most frequent organizer of hate speech events, directly sponsoring and facilitating 340 such gatherings, which accounted for 29.2% of all documented incidents. BJP played a central role in orchestrating these events, with 76.7% (261) of the events occurring during the general election period as part of a nationwide campaign characterized by the weaponization of anti-Muslim hate speech as a strategy.

गुजरात के गोंडल में राजकुमार जाट नाम के युवक की रहस्यमय मौत के पीछे बीजेपी से गोंडल के पूर्व विधायक का हाथ बताया जा रहा है। इससे पहले भी इसी विधायक के बेटे ने एक दलित युवक को गाड़ी ओवरटेक करने पर पीटा था जिसके लिए वह जेल भी जा चुके है। सरकार से पूछना चाहता हूं, क्या इस देश में और गुजरात में कोई कानून व्यवस्था बची है? या भाजपा के लोग अपनी मनमानी करेंगे? क्या गरीब के जान की कोई क़ीमत नहीं? राज्य के मुख्यमंत्री से निवेदन है की वह मामले का तत्काल संज्ञान लेकर इस परिवार को न्याय दिलाए।

At the summit last week on 4 March, a new plan for Gaza’s reconstruction was presented by Arab leaders as an alternative to Trump’s plan to expel Palestinians from Gaza. Our analysis indicates that this initiative—which has gained support from the European Council—includes an architectural master plan that carries forward key elements of Israel’s designed destruction of Gaza (as addressed in our Cartography of Genocide report bit.ly/cartography-of…), with its proposal for a ‘buffer zone’, security corridors, and raid routes.
