Lex Libertas  Media Statement
3 December 2025 US Refugee Decision Highlights Urgent Need for Reform in South Africa  The White House’s announcement that the United States will pause refugee admissions globally, with an exception for Afrikaners citing persecution in South Africa, highlights once again the deep crises facing the country. This development reflects issues that cannot be resolved through denial, scapegoating or political messaging. South Africa requires meaningful reform, particularly the decentralisation of political power and greater self-governance for its diverse communities. These steps are essential to restore stability, protect constitutional rights, and address the conditions that give rise to such international concerns. Lex Libertas, a think tank and advocacy group based in South Africa will soon publish a detailed report on the persecution of minority communities in South Africa to contribute to an evidence-based conversation about the country’s future. Lex Libertas remains committed to advancing a viable political dispensation based on freedom, accountability, and community autonomy. Lex Libertas is a think tank and advocacy group working towards a viable political dispensation in South Africa, based on the principles of freedom, decentralisation, and self-governance. 38 more billboards with the same message have been erected in response to the totalitarian governments forced removals. Love it!

Court order: Johannesburg Metro returns Solidarity banner; advertising agency must pay back money The Johannesburg Metro will return Solidarity’s 70 m long banner free of charge. The banner reads: “Welcome to the most race-regulated country in the world.”  This follows a settlement agreement that was made an order of the court. Solidarity also says they are finalising an agreement with the advertising company to return  the money. If the company does not pay back the money, Solidarity will sue it. Solidarity also erected 38 more billboards with the same message in Johannesburg.  According to Solidarity, it had a legal contract with the advertising agency. The agency rents advertising space from the metro and Solidarity in turn rented from the agency.  “We have met all the requirements. We are now going to get our banner back and we want our money back. We are also going ahead with the campaign,” said Dr Dirk Hermann, Chief Executive of Solidarity.  For Solidarity, there is no doubt that its banner was unlawfully removed because of its message. Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi said in a post on X that the “anti-transformists” must be defeated, and a photo of the banner was published. Mgcini Tshwaku, Johannesburg Public Safety MMC, responded to Lesufi’s post with a video showing the banner being removed. “Solidarity is continuing its campaign. The fact is that South Africa is the most race-regulated country in the world. The banner and 38 other billboards are shining the spotlight on it and have sparked a national and international debate. At least South Africa’s radical racial dispensation is now being talked about,” says Hermann.

The most likely outcome is that AI and robots make everyone wealthy. In fact, far wealthier than the richest person on Earth 👀 By this, I mean that people will have access to everything from medical care that is superhuman to games that are far more fun that what exists today. We do need to make sure that AI cares deeply about truth and beauty for this to be the probable future.

The G20 will be held at Nasrec because it symbolises white and black working together, the SA Government said. Yet, they preside over 140 anti-white race laws and they chant about exterminating the white minority while blaming the victims when the people they continuously blame and target are violently murdered. When questioned about this by the international community, they deny that the problem exists. All of this while the courts (with judges appointed by them) protect them.
