The Indian National Congress has placed a great responsibility upon me. I sincerely thank the Congress President, @RahulGandhi, and the leadership of the #AllIndiaCongressCommittee for the trust and confidence they have reposed in me. This responsibility has been made possible by the tireless efforts of lakhs of #UDF workers during the elections and by the unwavering support of the leaders who stood united as #TeamUDF. I remain deeply grateful to each one of them.

So glad the Congress got it right in Kerala. The way the party is poised right now, it needs to reward state leaders above diktats from what we call the high command. I also have a bit of a problem with over interpretations of rifts in family and so on. Makes for a good story but a difference of opinion is not a rift. If we compare the command structures inside BJP when it comes to those from BJP/RSS lineage they have imposed unknown figures as CMs in Rajasthan, MP over a known leadership they themselves cultivated. But have been careful with external imports such as Hemanta Biswa Sarma and now Suvendu Adhikari.

@OmarAbbasHyat Everyone in Kerala knows who manufactured this so called ‘public sentiment.’ Groups like the Muslim League, SDPI, JI etc. have heavily invested in VDS, & worried that under a different CM their returns may not be as lucrative as under VDS. Enough of the outrage; stop crying. 😀

Pappu and his Peon KCV will see loss in LS seats in 2029 in Kerala and will likely blame Muslims. They won’t introspect their disastrous decisions of going against Public sentiment. Bookmark this post.

Rahul Gandhi has reportedly told state leaders that Jamaat-e-Islami is interfering in Congress affairs. Satheesan has been whitewashing JIH, which had extended full support to the Congress before the Assembly election and continues to do so even now. This is exactly what the LDF has been saying for so long. #LDF #RahulGandhi #VDSatheesan #Congress #JamaatEIslami

Year after year, the NEET paper is leaked and millions of students suffer. The Modi Government learnt nothing from the 2024 fiasco and yet again, corrupt and vested interests manage to rig the country’s most important medical entrance test. This is a racket, and it cannot operate without those at the very top knowing exactly how the system works. Simply cancelling the paper is not enough. Students and parents deserve accountability - which means that those in power must apologise to the lakhs of students who are facing this stress, and heads must roll so that this is not repeated again. Enough is enough.

V.D. Satheesan, is the clear and deserving choice for Kerala's next Chief Minister. UDF swept 18 of 20 Lok Sabha seats in 2024, performed strongly in local body polls, and now managed 102 out of 140 MLA seats under him.

Interesting: message sent by Cong leadership to all contenders for Keralam CM post after meeting: ‘party won, not an individual..’ Final decision only likely now next week. After all the high drama in TN, Keralam moving slowly to its own beat. One of the few states left where Congress is not short of genuine rooted leaders. 🙏

Congress is a political nursery...
Rajdeep Sardesai@sardesairajdeep

Interesting: *Assam CM @himantabiswa is a former Congman who joined BJP *Bengal CM @SuvenduWB comes from a Cong family, was with TMC and then joined BJP. * Puducherry CM N Rangaswamy is a former Congman who formed his own party AINRC * Vijay almost joined Tamil Nadu Youth Cong, eventually formed his own party * Kerala will have a Cong CM Net net: Congress today is less a rival party and more a political training ground for its opponents😃🙏

A Qs for those living outside Tamil Nadu: would any other major state welcome as chief minister in today’s India someone whose full name is Chandrasekaran Joseph Vijay . What TN has shown today, may India do tomorrow: respect our unique multi-religious, multi-cultural diversity and give everyone a fair shot at their dreams. ⭐️👍

Not correct ... He got de-ranged after marriage ...some marriage problems, as these guys are booked in marriage market on high tenders after UPSC results... then he picked fight with father in law and seized his property ... I don't want to tell in public, as i know his family 😎
Sann@san_x_m

His name is Raju Narayana Swamy. In 1991 he secured AIR 1 in UPSC. The best rank in the country that year. He had a computer science degree from IIT Madras. MIT offered him a scholarship. He turned it down. He said the poorest Indians had paid for his IIT education through their taxes. He owed them something back. So he joined IAS. His first posting: a real estate developer wanted to fill a paddy field. Sixty poor families said they would flood. He refused permission. He was transferred. He exposed illegal land deals by the children of Kerala’s Public Works Minister. The minister resigned. He was transferred. He uncovered corruption at the Coconut Development Board. Officers were suspended. He was transferred. He fought corruption in civil supplies. He was removed before he could finish. 32 transfers in 34 years. He once wrote formally asking why he was being paid a salary for work that was never assigned to him. In 2025 the Supreme Court dismissed his plea for promotion to Chief Secretary. Despite AIR 1. Despite 30 years of service. He also wrote 34 books. Won the Sahitya Akademi Award. Holds a PhD in law. MIT offered him America. He chose the people. India’s system sent him one message for 34 years. Honesty will cost you everything. He paid it every time. Follow for real stories India never makes headlines about.

"From a Washington perspective, #Pakistan is not a woman to marry, but rather a whore to use and discard. Munir is just the latest pimp. Trump’s term is ending and whoever comes next—Republican or Democrat—will likely agree on one issue: Pakistan is not to be trusted, nor will the United States feel any obligation to respect any Trump promises to Munir." The Musli League and SDPI appear to be the main political promoters of V.D. Satheesan. If he becomes C M there is a real risk that Kerala could see an unprecedented rise in religious polarisation, which would be deeply detrimental to the state’s social harmony and secular fabric.
Indrajith Swamy@Indrajith60

@sardesairajdeep The concern with Satheesan is that he appears more like a Muslim League backed candidate than a Congress CM face. Much of the street level agitation and high drama seems to be driven by the League and SDPI, and that is what worries many people including the congress high command.
