There is no truth in Moscow’s latest set of falsehoods accusing Ukraine of preparing attacks against Russia from the territory of Latvia. We officially refute them. Ukraine does not use the territory or airspace of Latvia in its operations against Russia and does not intend to do so. Russian lies are merely an extension of its broader propaganda campaign aimed at destabilising public opinion in Latvia and the wider Baltics. We thank our Latvian friends for seeing right through them.

@KaroliinaAinge Just to clarify... Russia was able to push off these drones near Latvian and Estonian boarders but cannot do the same to protect their refineries deep in Russia (more time to track and "divert") or even Moscow? So this system ONLY works near Latvia and Estonia. Interesting

First of all, we all know it was a Ukrainian attack drone. The Ukrainians have already apologised and reiterated that they have never used or asked to use Baltic airspace for these attacks. Russia managed to push it off course into Southern Estonia. 2/

NATO fighter jets shot down a drone over Estonia today. The propaganda war has already kicked off – Russia is arguing that it proves Estonia (and Latvia) is allowing its airspace to be used for attacking Russia. Worth thinking what their plan is with that kind of messaging. 1/

Claims that the Baltic States allow Ukraine to use their airspace are utter nonsense - and Russia knows it. Moscow’s threats against the Baltic States are not a sign of strength, but of weakness. Russia is failing on the battlefield in Ukraine and is trying to intimidate us into reducing our support for Ukraine. The right response is to do the opposite: increase our support to Ukraine and boost Europe’s defences even further.

IF a country is used in war then it can participate in war. Whole diversion story is complete BS because how come it only works there and not near Moscow? 🤔

Why are restaurants so expensive in the West? I'm honestly asking. In Asia people eat out almost every day, there are options cheaper than cooking for yourself. But even "street food" is expensive here. I paid $17 for 4 tacos out of a truck from a guy who spoke no English.

Then the Kremlin tasked him with organizing an insurrection in Donetsk. Others led parallel ops in Luhansk, Odessa, Kharkiv. That was how the war started
