It’s so depressing. Six Israelis were murdered by terrorists yesterday, one of whom is an American citizen. Every Jewish person I know is tweeting about it. But it’s radio silence almost everyone else, so including people who stood with me on women’s rights, LGBT rights and Black Lives Matter. Why do so few people who say they care about social justice treat Jews like they matter?

I had 5+ buddies who dated and married women who were very liberal in college. Attending the feminist rallies, cried when Trump won. The guys are now making bank at hedge funds and all the ladies became stay-home MAGA moms. Escalades, country clubs, the works.

Yes, what you're paid is less than what you produce. But if the employer contributes nothing you don't need an employer--you can just make widgets yourself and sell them. So the employer contributes something--capital, equipment, insights, or else you'd quit and do it yourself.
