From tomorrow, our national strike week begins (02/02/26 – 09/02/26). Some people will take part for the full week. Some for a day. Some won’t take part at all… Some will spend cash and refuse to shop at big businesses and others will simply say “what’s the point?” That’s the reality and it’s to be expected. What matters is that ordinary people across the country are choosing to stand up, lawfully and peacefully, and say “enough”. These people are the pioneers of things to come. To everyone taking part in any way during the week whether on the ground, online, or simply by showing support, thank you! Whatever happens between now and the 9th, your willingness to act matters. This movement is ten months old and I feel like we are just getting started.
