Constantly wondering if it's just rose-tinted glasses, but since moving to Australia I've found regional towns which are untouched by modernity & diversity, and it's like stepping back in time! Ultimately I ended up moving my family to one, and they literally have the upbringing I did with space, good schools and low density. The town recently saw off plans for a mosque in the are too, so everybody is on the same page! By comparison, both tiny villages my grandparents live in back in the UK have been besieged; it's utterly bizarre to see how far it's getting there. I have no doubts it will reach me eventually too, but as it holds-off until the kids have finished school, I can live with that.

@kra4900 Maybe 25-30 years ago, but most of them have seen an influx from 'white flight' since then, for obvious reasons. I'd argue that the town I moved to has significantly more beautiful women compared to where I lived in England, especially blue-eyed/blonde-haired.

@AcademicAgent_X @PeterMcCormack Regional Australia is still your best bet if you want somewhere with English as the main language. Some of those towns, even the larger ones, are like stepping back into the 90's/00's with basically zero diversity. Plenty of work and very affordable, I've not looked back!

I reckon ONP will have a really decent turnout when people can vote in the privacy of the booth; it'll be like the Brexit vote. (but hopefully not subverted!)

Finally the Victorian public have realised ALP is not working for them, they are stealing from them. The CFMEU Royal Commission will take place if Labor are removed. I think the majority want to know where the missing billions went ? A One Nation and LNP coalition can form government on these numbers and I can’t see them changing dramatically prior to the 28th of November. If anything ALP is going further down?
