For Codex, we’ve been thinking about keeping a stable release cadence and have a larger release each week on Thursday. That does make the start of the week and bit less exciting. Thoughts?

Full Self Driving just saved our family from a highway speed collision with a guy who basically almost pit maneuvered me in my blind spot. When the reaction kicks in, it was like a forcefield, pushed us one lane over into empty drivable space. FSD is 1000x better than any insurance plan

The needle grasps and inserts each electrode thread of our implant into the brain. We've built the technology to produce these needles in-house, using lasers to mill features invisible to the naked eye.

Google founder Sergey Brin's wealth has DOUBLED to $311 billion since Trump's election. Now he’s spending $57M to oppose a 5% billionaires' wealth tax in California. He’d rather millions lose healthcare than pay his fair share in taxes. This kind of arrogance is unacceptable.

Usage limits are up, effective today we're: 1) Doubling Claude Code's 5-hour limits for Pro, Max, Team and seat-based Enterprise plans 2) Removing peak hours limit reduction on Claude Code for Pro and Max plans 3) Substantially raising our API rate limits for Opus models
Claude@claudeai

We’ve agreed to a partnership with @SpaceX that will substantially increase our compute capacity. This, along with our other recent compute deals, means that we’ve been able to increase our usage limits for Claude Code and the Claude API.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: US Dept. Education Opens TITLE IX Investigation into LA Unified School District For Allegedly Protecting Sexual Predators. Our February investigation revealed data indicating 17% of students will encounter sexual misconduct by a teacher and/or staff in the public education system. Independent journalism leads the way!

SPECIAL INVESTIGATION: Top Attorney Claims “Epidemic of Sexual Abuse” in California Public Schools by Teachers, Coaches, or School Employees And Reveals That New Data Estimates 17% of Students Nationwide Will Face Sexual Misconduct During Their Public Education This week on Straight to the Point I sat down with a leading Attorney John Manly, who represented victims of USA Olympic Gymnastics team doctor Larry Nassar. Manly alleges that powerful teachers unions and failures in mandatory reporting requirements are enabling widespread sexual abuse by “passing the trash,” a practice in which he says problematic teachers are quietly reassigned after allegations rather than being fired and prosecuted. 100%. Anyone under 25 shouldn’t touch it for the simple fact that if you become a habitual user you will stop progressing. In everything. No it’s not going to kill you. I know that. But it will sap your will to do anything to advance yourself as a person. The first 10 years after school are the most important in your career and you need to be motivated and busy if you want to be able to relax later on. Then you can smoke as much as you want.

Cool video of New Glenn’s fairing re-entry. For this flight we installed an exo-atmospheric reaction control system (RCS) in the fairing to control re-entry and enable recovery of the fairing. We’re planning a parachute recovery later this year, and the data from these fairings gives us the learnings needed to develop and refine that capability.

@theo Its working very well for me, and 5.4 was already so good in codex app I dropped my Claude plan before 5.5 even came out. It feels like the same amount of plan usage per task with 5.4 compared to 5.4 even with the increases cost, just using less tokens to do a better job

$5 per mil in, $30 per mil out. GPT-5.5 is smart. I've been using it for a bit. It's also weird, hard to wrangle, and too expensive IMO. Double the price of GPT-5.4. 20% more expensive than Opus 4.7.
OpenAI@OpenAI

Introducing GPT-5.5 A new class of intelligence for real work and powering agents, built to understand complex goals, use tools, check its work, and carry more tasks through to completion. It marks a new way of getting computer work done. Now available in ChatGPT and Codex.
