I offered an interview to the US news network @ABC. I denounced the multidimensional aggression of the #US government against #Cuba, which is seriously harming our people, particularly through an imposition of an oil siege and the adoption, on May 1st last, of an Executive Order that includes secondary coercive measures. I reiterated #Cuba's disposition to have a dialogue with the #US government, always on the basis of the respect for our sovereignty and self-determination.

I attend the preparatory meeting for the forthcoming conference on privileges and diplomatic immunities in Kenya.

It is absurd for the US State Department to claim that #Cuba, a relatively small developing country, submitted to a brutal economic warfare, could be a threat to the biggest military, technological and economic power in the world. It is all the more so when it is known that Cuba is a peace-loving country that doesn't attack others, that doesn't allow its territory to be used against others and keeps a clean record against terrorism, international organized crime and violence. All of that is known by the US government and its security and defense agencies. It is impossible to fabricate pretexts by resorting to arguments that are so weak and deceitful.

The Republic of #Cuba allocated four (4) scholarships for medical studies in Cuba for the year 2026. The Cuban medical scholarship program offers fully funded undergraduate studies at the Latin American School of Medicine.
