Transgender ideology cannot withstand impartial scrutiny because it is grounded in self-evident falsehoods. It has obtained the enormous power it wields through campaigns of bullying and intimidation inside major institutions. A former senior BBC editor explains how it was done.
UnHerd@unherd

Inside the capture of the BBC, by Rob Burley (@RobBurl) In his 13 years as a senior BBC editor, Rob Burley saw the Corporation’s defining commitment to impartiality undermined by transgender ideology, a blind commitment to Diversity & Inclusion schemes, and a culture of intolerance. Informed by his experiences at Newsnight alongside other prestige shows, his major investigation reveals how the BBC took a side in the culture wars. He draws on extensive interviews with current and former staff — including journalists at the very top. Speaking out for the first time since leaving the Corporation, Fran Unsworth, the former director of BBC News, reveals in an explosive interview: “I would actually say it drove me out, just dealing with the progressive editorial issues and the bullying around them all. It was incredibly difficult.” Read more below ⬇️ buff.ly/7Fv4Ry8

@TheBuddyCSM I always said “ protecting tier 1 units” And then I would accuse the CAG fags of needing the Rangers to put their armor on them, and hold their hands up to the LCC.

These were my platoon sergeant years (2007-2009). This was right around the time the Ranger Regiment shifted from supporting Tier 1 units and was unleashed to work targets unilaterally. The really great part was that we were hitting targets with Ranger privates who were only a few months out of RIP in the same target sets as Tier 1 units. I have a lot of similar footage I’ll never release for personal reasons, but this is good stuff. They make mistakes; that’s what AARs are for. Don’t let perfect be the enemy of good. Never a dull night. Best time of my life. RLTW!

Rare 2007 helmet cam footage captures the 75th Ranger Regiment clearing compounds in Iraq. Peak of the surge. Constant threat of IEDs and hidden weapon caches. Every doorway a split-second decision. Unfiltered history.

Illegal immigrant who attacked someone in Japan gets deported. Immigrant: “I don’t want to go back!” Immigration officer: “It doesn’t matter. We’re taking you. You’re lucky we even have a plane. We’re taking you no matter what.” Japan is not messing around.

The northeast is suffering from a flight of human capital and will not be "elite" for long outside of a few outposts like Harvard and Yale.
Corix@bushrangercorix

@douglassmackey @FischerKing64 More and more people from the north are going to school in the south since they dislike the intense bureaucracy, elitism, snobbery and intense left wing rhetoric of northeastern colleges. As someone who goes to a LAC in Massachusetts we are rapidly declining due to low enrolling.

Machiavelli recognizes that encouraging factionalism is a classic strategy for rulers who seek to divide their subjects making them easier to rule He warns this strategy is not advisable because the minute an outside force threatens the nation your population will turn on you

Ben Shapiro was always a mirage. The article attributes the slow death of the DAILY WIRE primarily to the rise of anti-Semitic commentators like Nick Fuentes and Candace Owens, which is true but elides the "changing consumer habits" of right-wing media and the artificial hydroponics that sustained Shapiro in the first place. Ben Shapiro is a silver-spoon dork whose rich Hollywood parents bought him a career in punditry. He had a WND column when he was a teenager; don't try and tell me that he got that on merit. His entire pitch to the financiers who backed him was that he represented da yoof when his audience was the same boomers who watch Sean Hannity. He's a smug twerp whose voice dries out vaginas. Shapiro was pushed by the same evangelical Christian media complex that dominated the right-wing during the 2000s only to lose their credibility with the implosion of George W. Bush. Their message was never appealing to anyone under 55. There was always a small collective of Young Republican dorks at every college in the 2000s, but they were extremely uncool, obnoxious people. The only socially acceptable way to be right-wing was Ron Paul libertarianism (which burned itself out in its own way). Young people don't want to be crushed by the Catherine wheel of DEI and libtardery and be told that it's their own fault. "Pull yourself up by your bootstraps" sells only to boomers because everyone else had to pawn their bootstraps to make rent. The rise of Trump revealed how hollow the evangelical media complex was, as "TROO CONSERVATIVES" like Shapiro whined about his uncouth attitude and his casual disregard for "conservative principles" like handing all our industry to China on a silver platter. Shapiro limped along due to the mass deplatforming of the MAGA right that occurred during Trump's first term. Remember the "Intellectual Dark Web"? That was some marketer's idea of what an "edgy" right-wing would look like. The MTV of discourse. When Twitter changed management in 2022, it revealed that Shapiro's audience was all smoke and mirrors. Of course, the new wave of low-IQ anti-Semites are being pushed just as much as Shapiro was. Nick Fuentes sought funding from Dan and Farris Wilks, the same billionaires who provided seed capital for DAILY WIRE and PragerU. Candace Owens? Pushed. Tucker Carlson? Pushed. Thiel Capital came very close to funding the alt-right in 2015-2016---and groups like TRS were explicitly seeking Thiel funding---before an implosion caused them to switch their support to the IDW because it was less embarrassing. Trust no bitch. The other factor in Shapiro's demise is the fact that the right-wing has been demographically replaced. Young Americans are browner and brownoids have no interest in Christianity or "personal responsibility conservatism." They may be anti-feminist, but they want to bang girls, not get married. They want fast cars, big houses, and bling bling. In other words, Andrew Tate---and people inspired like him---will ultimately define the American right-wing, not Shapiro or even Fuentes. Shapiro will struggle along in some capacity, but his influence will be deeply diminished. THE DAILY WIRE will either go down completely or shrink to become a glorified platform for Shapiro. No more dumb movies that rip off 20-year-old FUTURAMA episodes. The evangelical complex is done.

New York Magazine@NYMag

There was a time, not very long ago, when Ben Shapiro could reasonably call himself the king of all conservative media. That’s all over now, writes political columnist Ross Barkan. Shapiro’s company, ‘The Daily Wire,’ is instituting significant layoffs. Its YouTube channel’s subscriber base is starting to shrink, and its website has emerged as one of the great traffic losers in conservative media. There are ‘Daily Wire’ YouTube videos that now, after a few days online, have less than 10,000 views, a catastrophically small number for a channel with more than 3 million subscribers. The top comments all mock the low view counts. “If a variety of poor business decisions can be blamed, in part, for the ‘Daily Wire’’s fall from grace — ill-fated investments in feature films, an epic fantasy series, and peculiar merchandise — the greater story is the collapse of Shapiro’s constituency,” writes Barkan. “There are two realities to Shapiro conservatism in 2026: It retains a significant foothold among Republican elites, and it is fast being rejected by the future grassroots of the party.” Read more: nymag.visitlink.me/KtpIKV
