@jonburkeUK @LoftusSteve @EdConwaySky Becaue it makes a damn sight more sense for the government to get 80% of revenue from the commercial exploitation of the North Sea. I appreciate this energy stuff is hard so suggest you just toddle off and close some more streets and pay over the odds for solar panels.

@janrosenow Was talking to a chap who works in heating oil in Northern Ireland. The distributor he works for is still selling oil it locked in at prices from August 2024, in case you're wondering how unregulated the market here is.

Heating oil prices are sky-rocketing around the world.
The Nordics have understood the risks of using fossil fuels for heating early on and transitioned away from heating oil almost entirely whilst phasing in heat pumps.

Aerosol and airborne don't mean the same thing, no. But meningococcus is partly spread via aerosols which are indeed airborne - as per above. We're done here.

Meningitis is airborne and the vaccine is currently £200 so why not advise people to wear FFP2 respirators since this is clearly going to be a drawn out public health crisis?
