@DerrickEvans4WV An iPad is great for educational uses. If used correctly it could help inmates learn and move forward. Also, physical paper books become a source for contraband and narcotics to enter the facility.

California just spent $189 MILLION to give a “free” iPad to every inmate, even those on death row. The inmates were caught watching porn, sending nudes, & some were even caught grooming children😳 Officials say they can’t monitor 90,000 tablets. Ok, why did you pass them out?

You are in a huge minority if u have one REAL friend in your lifetime. Anything more you are a very rich man. All friends must be tested, like it or not, it’s the truth. And if you are lucky to have one, treat them like the Hope Diamond because that’s how rare and valuable they are! -Teddy Atlas

🚨HOUSING MARKET IS GOING TO IMPLODE🚨 New reports show that existing home sales numbers are horrific with no signs of rebound. - Mortgage rates are too high - Home prices are too high - Low rate homeowners frozen in place - Inflation outpacing wages The crash is coming.

@mageeclegg There is too much pressure to thrive or survive. It would be interesting to see how much stress can be put on people before their brain functions and well being start to breakdown. I don’t know if there are studies on this

One of the strangest things about America 🇺🇸… You meet people making $300k/year who are anxious, exhausted, medicated, and can barely sleep at night. Then you go to Mexico 🇲🇽… and see some guy running a small restaurant, barely breaking even… but he’s laughing with friends, drinking mezcal at lunch, hugging customers, and sleeps perfectly fine at night.

@AmirAminiMD I think Iran has been on a decline for sometime. There was a reason moves were made on them recently. I don’t see thier ascension to regional superpower

Now it’s definitive. Iran will keep the Strait of Hormuz closed for the next 2 or 3 decades. Iran will not negotiate -neither with this nor the next US administration. Iran will emerge as a regional superpower, with or without a nuclear bomb or sanctions relief. The US has a decades long devastating stalemate on its hands. The world will pay a hefty price for the US/IS mistakes. The petrodollar is finished. The UAE is finished. US hegemony is finished. People in the US and around the world will blame and boycott Israel.

I have been trading for 6 years This is without a doubt the least enjoyable market I’ve ever witnessed We gap up and chop all day, the only strong uptrend moves exist on stocks with a 90 RSI We have headlines that not only create very quick V moves and leave uncertainty, but they are conflicting and dropped at very suspicious times Don’t let the memory and CPU rally fool you. This market is EGREGIOUSLY bad

Kevin O’Leary breaks down how he handles family asking him for money "maybe you made $5 million, maybe you made $10 million, many people in your family will approach you" "in the beginning you will feel the guilt of success and you will give them money, and you will slowly destroy your relationship with those people, and you will have horrible Thanksgivings" "I’m gonna give you the $200,000, it’s a gift, but I never ever want you to ask for money from me again"

All these donuts at Krispy Kreme are seen going through the production line, and at the end of the line they are all dropped directly into the trash can The trash can at the end of the line is also packed full of donuts They’re all being thrown away because Krispy Kreme has a policy that emphasizes selling donuts right off the line or very fresh. So donuts that miss the window or have minor imperfections are thrown into the trash can This is why you see so any viral videos of dumpsters full of Krispy Kreme donuts At the end of the day they also typically throw them all into the trash What a waste with the cost of food and so many people struggling

Travis Bickle’s mohawk in Taxi Driver wasn't De Niro's idea. It came from Victor Magnotta, a friend of Scorsese's who had served in Vietnam and played a Secret Service agent in the film. Magnotta told them that in Saigon, if you saw a soldier with a mohawk, it meant he was ready to go into a Special Forces operation and you stayed away from him. De Niro couldn't actually shave his head because he was about to start filming The Last Tycoon with Elia Kazan right after. So he called Dick Smith, the makeup artist behind The Godfather and The Exorcist, who later won an Oscar for Amadeus. Smith built a latex bald cap and glued each bit of hair onto it individually. The cap was so uncomfortable that De Niro had to keep his neck completely stiff all day to stop it from peeling off. That stiffness ended up becoming part of the character; Travis doesn't move his head like a normal person in those scenes because De Niro physically couldn't. The whole film cost $1.9 million. The mohawk is still intact and you can visit it at the Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria, Queens. Description and photos sourced from Filmatic.
