Guys, please listen to what I am saying. You need to finds ways to make additional income outside of your 9-5. Layoffs are accelerating at a rapid pace. 3 of my closest friends, all in the IT industry, just got laid off in the past few weeks. They have no plan. No side gig. No savings. Please, do not ignore this warning. IT companies are the first to integrate AI to automate roles. Every other industry will follow suit soon. It is only a matter of time. Protect yourself. It’s coming.

@IncomeSharks @pepemoonboy Single parents with multiple jobs and a side hustle? Is that what's called Living the American Dream? As a side note, companies are not really replacing SE with AI, but rather giving AI to the ones that they didn't fire and hoping they are able to keep up.

To be honest most people don't have the drive or desire to do this. So many can only make money from a traditional job and a lot are afraid or too lazy to try (yes this will trigger people but everyone makes excuses because they don't want to make sacrafices). If you have time to play video games and watch shows you have time to find a second source of income. There are single parents with multiple children working two jobs that find a way to start a business. If you have time to binge watch a show, play videos, you have time. It won't be easy, you won't have fun, but if you put in 2 to 10 years of effort where failure is not an option, I'd bet 90% succeed.

@fxevolution Spot on. Most of the SE in saas companies are overworked due to understaffing and the pressure to deliver fast (using the magical AI bullet). What most companies don't get is that it's not the lack of AI slowing releases, is their internal processes, which most ai startups lack.

AI continues to be used as the best excuse for companies to reduce their workforce in 2026. To the software engineers out there in the community what are your thoughts?

Trump launching $TRUMP was the most brazenly fraudulent thing I've ever seen a president do. The family should be investigated. That said, the reason crypto is down is not "TRUMP." I read this 10x a day on CT. The truth: He's pushed every policy and PR to pump it up. It's simply the fact that crypto is not giving value anywhere near the prices we set when Trump got elected. We valued Solana at 140 billion dollars while it generated 2.4 bill in revenue. A 70x valuation. Trump could even give citizenship for owning SOL, and that value would not go up with its revenue being down nearly 50% of that. The flip side was candidates who were (and still are) pushing for taxes on unrealized gains. They also wanted to make owning or trading unreported crypto illegal. Look, like or don't like Trump. A) Adopting the Euro globalist strategies of Kamala definitely was not the way to go. Stop being goofy. B) The issue right now is we overvalued this shit and are now so soggy about it we can't even see the opportunity in front of us. THE SILVER LINING: This shit is insanely undervalued. And the entire financial world is now adopting it. Policy wise, business wise, adoption wise – crypto has never been in a better strong spot. The point: Stop throwing a tantrum and trying to find blame outside the blatant tulip mania we all try to profit from in this industry. Instead, look at the fact that tulips have bloomed into full-blown trees and are now being sold at absolutely oversold prices. Stop looking back. Look forward. The future is bright.

Few alerts from videos triggered only now! I'm increasingly convinced that I need to learn to simply set alerts on key indicator metrics, and either skip the entry point if the alert isn't triggered, or stop chaotically hitting the buy button in hopes of catching a market reversal—instead, work exclusively with the algorithms embedded in the price! For the umpteenth time, I'm convinced that even the most seemingly illogical buy line levels or a weekly timeframe alert for take-profit on sells will be hit, whether I want it or not! A simple truth. If you bought the 2023 alt lows and the failed to sell the 2024 highs...As I did, you fumbled FUCK tons of money. Another simple truth. You are going to get another shot, probably 3x bigger, in crypto. Don't get pissy n quit and let 1 fumble turn into two.
