The report, developed by the Kenya Tobacco Industry Monitoring and Response (TIMR) team under the International Institute for Legislative Affairs (IILA), recommends, among other measures, a coordinated multi-sectoral response to close digital loopholes, strengthen enforcement, and prevent tobacco and nicotine marketing from targeting children and other vulnerable groups. The @InfoKfcb's Film Classification Guidelines outline thematic areas, including Drugs, Alcohol, and Substance Abuse, which the Board uses to examine and classify audio-visual content for age appropriateness. According to the Guidelines, Tobacco is among the Classifiable Elements under the Drugs, Alcohol and Harmful Substances Thematic Area. @InfoKfcb remains committed to working with all stakeholders and agencies whose mandates impact the film industry, and to supporting initiatives aimed at protecting children from exposure to inappropriate content and other forms of abuse. @NellyMuluka @Waziri_Mvurya @fikirini_jacobs @koske_felix @moyasa_ke @SDY_Ke @njogunjoroge1 @marcosMasiga @SpokespersonGoK
