It is unfortunate that @GautamKhattar and his younger brother, Madhav Khattar, have been arrested in hate speech case by the Goa Police, who appear to have acted with unusual speed and aggression. Many Hindus believe they are not criminals but have spoken what they see as the truth. The Inquisition remains a dark chapter of Goa’s history that deserves discussion even today. Everyone should speak up on this issue. We cannot accept such high-handed actions.

I am collating everything. The police in India don't joke.

The policeman who kicked paid the price – suspended and will face further action. So that's settled. But that's not the main issue in this controversy. The primary concern is still occupying a public place 'without approval' to pray. Why block traffic and cause inconvenience to others? Just because a policeman broke the law doesn't mean the mob gets a free pass. Occupying a public place without permission is a crime. I hope @DelhiPolice takes action on this matter too.

So a big mosque is just next to the road & yet the MusIims chose to offer Namaz on the road.. Why so? Doesn't it prove that they did it intentionally to show their strength or maybe they wanted police to act so that they can play victim & get reason to start violence? @HMOIndia should investigate if they were asked to gather there...

I come from a country that was partitioned into two because Muslims said they cannot live with us as they may not be able to practice their religion in a Hindu majority country. Today this is how Muslims occupy roads for Namaz and police are helpless. #DelhiPolice
