When will @RealGDT do for the Mexican Revolution what he did for the Spanish Civil War? #PansLabyrinth #DevilsBackbone

This is because of @SocialistAlt unfortunately holding @cmkshama’s IG and TikTok hostage since Kshama left to build @wrkrsstrikeback
We have repeatedly urged Socialist Alternative not to be sectarian and to please give Kshama her accounts back
@SocialistAltSEA @SocialistAltEWS
Kaliko Castille@WizKaliko
@briebriejoy @cmkshama Why doesn’t her campaign have an Instagram or a TikTok?! That feels like political malpractice in 2025.

It’s only 10 days into Kshama's independent socialist campaign for Congress against pro-genocide Democrat Adam Smith, and already the right-wing attacks are escalating, including the defacement of our posters as you can see in the photos below.
Unsurprisingly, the main attack is that opposing the genocide in Gaza makes @cmkshama “anti-Semitic.” This, of course, is not only one of the favorite slurs against the antiwar movement from the right wing, but also from Democratic politicians like Chuck Schumer who just published a book with this premise called “Antisemitism in America.”
It’s one of the iron laws of working-class politics that the greater the political impact you’re having, the more you’ll get attacked, and that’s what’s happening here in spades. The right wing and the Democratic Party hate that working people are excited about our demands to end the genocide, end all U.S. military aid to Israel, stop the deportations & shut down the detention centers, win free healthcare by taxing the rich, and fight for rent control. They hate that our campaign has already raised over $70,000 from working people in 40 states, Washington DC, and Puerto Rico.
The BEST way to push back on these kinds of attacks is to build the strongest possible campaign and go on the offensive for working people. If you’re reading this, please take a moment to go to kshamasawant.org/donate and make a donation now. And also sign up to volunteer for our campaign — it’s going to take thousands of us to defeat Adam Smith and the Zionist lobby that’s backing him to the hilt.
In some ways the more disappointing, though predictable, development has been the sectarian attacks from the “left.” This includes some activists at Wednesday’s ICE Out protest physically (and somewhat violently) ripping the microphone out of Kshama’s hands as she was speaking and then screaming in her face. That has since been followed up by a sectarian social media post by DSA member, Sundar Sharma, who justifies the incident by saying Kshama was “bogarting the mic.” In fact she was about 2 minutes into her speech, which had been punctuated repeatedly by loud applause. The mood was electric and most people were hanging on Kshama's every word. Sundar also bizarrely claims that Kshama was criticizing DSA. She hadn’t said a word about DSA, but she *was* rightly criticizing the Democrats for their total failure to fight Trump. Many people chanted “let her speak” after the mic was seized from Kshama, but the sectarians weren't having it.
Instead of this kind of toxicity on the left, we urgently need to put the focus on fighting effectively for the urgent issues we agree on. That’s one of the reasons we’re building the strongest antiwar, working-class campaign in the country behind Kshama’s run for US Congress:
End the genocide in Gaza — no military aid, no occupation
End the deportations — shut down the detention centers
Free healthcare now — tax the rich
We need rent control — make corporate landlords pay
I hope you’ll join us.

"We need mass strikes & mass civil disobedience to defeat Trump's horrendous agenda of deportations... Trump says this is disorderly — he hasn’t seen anything yet. Most urgently, the labor leadership should call for a general strike in the LA metro area." - @cmkshama

Both Democrats & Republicans serve warmongering billionaires.
I'm running for Congress against Democrat Adam Smith, who has fully backed the genocide in Gaza & has blood all over his hands.
Just as I used my City Council election campaigns to build momentum to win the first major-city $15 minimum wage (which is now the nation's highest at $20.76/hour), the Amazon Tax, and unprecedented renters' rights, I will use my Congressional election campaign to help build the antiwar, anti-genocide movement and to launch a historic fight for Medicare for All.
Just as I did in my decade as a representative of working people in Seattle, if I’m elected to Congress, I will accept only the average worker’s wage and donate the rest of my six-figure salary to workers’ and social justice movements.

French & Italian dock workers are refusing to load ships with weapons for the Israeli military. This is exactly what American port workers & the ILWU longshore workers' union leadership should be organizing to end the genocide in Gaza.
The working class DOES have the power to end the genocide, and this is how. Through workers internationally shutting down the genocide machinery.
This is why I'm running against the warmonger Democratic Congressmember Adam Smith who has approved billions of dollars for the Israeli state's genocide of the Palestinian people & called antiwar protestors "left-wing fascists". My campaign is calling for an end to the genocide, to all U.S. military funding for Israel, and to Israeli occupation of Gaza & the West Bank.
I stand with the CGT, the French trade union confederation, who say:
"We will not participate in the ongoing genocide orchestrated by the Israeli government.
"We are for peace between peoples. We are opposed to all wars. We deplore all armed conflicts that cause death, misery, and the exodus of populations.
"For peace. For an end to wars in the world. For society free from capitalist exploitation."

In its first three days, my working-class, anti-genocide campaign has raised over $50,000 from working people in 35 states to DEFEAT warmongering Democratic Congressman Adam Smith.
Smith’s #1 donor is @AIPAC, along with executives from Palantir, Microsoft, and weapons manufacturers. He is a loyal representative of the billionaire class. He has helped lead the financing of the ongoing genocide in Gaza as one of the most influential members of the House Armed Services Committee.
Donate and help build the strongest working-class, antiwar campaign in the country to turn the billionaires and their representatives on the defensive: kshamasawant.org/donate/
We’re getting nowhere by supporting the parties of the billionaires. Instead, send the socialist money can’t buy to U.S. Congress to end the genocide in Gaza, tax the rich to fund free healthcare for all, win rent control, and force a reckoning for big business and both their parties.

Trump has been forced to declare a 90-day pause on big parts of his tariff plan after the stock market crisis, but a lot of damage has already been done to working people.

We need to reject all the false shortcuts being dangled in front of us & build an independent, militant movement to bring down Trump, the billionaires, both their political parties, and their system.

Trump’s approval is historically low & getting worse. Tariffs are bad for workers, just as free trade has been. Union leaders like @ShawnFainUAW are wrong to support tariffs. We need working-class internationalism. Read my article in @NatCounterPunch: counterpunch.org/2025/04/24/sha…
