Since East-West Metro is heading for automatic operations(No driver but an operator), EW should extend its services till 11/11:30 P.M every day. This will greatly help the passengers boarding/deboarding trains at Howrah as well as Sealdah.

Some companies are approaching to the government to set up firms or at times the government of West Bengal is approaching the companies for the same objective. We reiterate that proposal, approval, start and completion are all different. Successful completion with maximum benefits is the goal of all the stakholders. Favourable terms and conditions for both the companies and government are required to get the approval of any project. Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is a massive multinational conglomerate with several entities in its entire corporate group. Most of the media houses covered the software park and data centre projects but did not cover the Kulti plan. Note that the capital manufacturing works by L&T is taken up by a separate L&T firm than the ones engaged in data center and STP. Coverage by media and avoidance/overlook depend upon a number of reasons (not the scope of this write-up). Zero or non-repetitive coverage by big media houses do not necessarily mean that the project has no fate or not discussed at all. Funny there are people who complain about traffic closure of chingrighata for 2 day or few hours where as the Vidyasagar Setu get closed on every Sunday but that doesn't make such outrage 🤣
