Girona liet vanavond zijn hoogste xG van het seizoen optekenen en Joan Garcia was MVP van deze wedstrijd. Maar de Catalaanse kranten en alle Barça-fanaccounts op X gaan weer alleen maar over complotten schrijven door die fout op Koundé bij de 2-1. Jammer en vermoeiend.

Girona wint in eigen huis dik verdiend van grote buur Barcelona. Met de 37-jarige Axel Witsel als nuttig rustpunt op het middenveld bij de thuisploeg. Hansi Flick moet dringend in eigen boezem kijken!

@koenfrans Niet volledig akkoord. Tis gewoon wanstaltig verdedigen. Kounde pakt geen bal meer af . Je moet zien waar Balde staat bij de 1-0 van Brugge volledig in niemandsland. De kwaliteit ontbreekt voorlopig gigantisch maar of de code gekraakt is tjah gewoon zeer matige verdediging.

Zelden speelde een Europese topploeg naïever dan dit FC Barcelona. Rayo, Sevilla, Girona en nu ook Club Brugge: de code is gekraakt als - met alle respect - dat soort teams meerdere keren per match alleen op je doelman kunnen afstormen.

Although I always worried my kids would come home playing tennis as lefties.   And then there was London—the Laver Cup in 2022. My final match. It meant everything to me that you were there by my side—not as my rival but as my doubles partner. Sharing the court with you that night, and sharing those tears, will forever be one of the most special moments of my career.   Rafa, I know you’re focused on the last stretch of your epic career. @NealGardner_ One thing that concerns me is the dribbling capacity of Olmo. His passing is superb, but he seems so clumsy while he has to dribble? Or was he just unlucky in some of his ball touches?

As much as I would love to see Fermin getting rewarded for his display against Bayern, if Olmo’s fit enough, he’s got to start. He’s a proper game-changer; the output he offers us between the lines and, more generally, in the final third, just can’t be matched.
