@byro_sani @RealAirPower1 The Ka-31 didn't enter service until 1995. You're probably thinking of the Ka-25, though I've never heard anyone allege that the Scorpion was sunk by an ASW helicopter.

If "The Hunt for Red October" had a sequel, this helicopter would probably make an appearance. A Russian Ka-31 equipped with a large folding E-801 Oko airborne radar patrols above the fleet, acting as the ships' eyes in the sky and helping detect threats (including a surfaced Red October) long before they appear on a destroyer's own radar.

Buffalo Bill Cody wrote one of the most impactful wildlife conservation op-eds of all time, “The Last of the Buffalo.” He was a household name, as famous as someone like Elvis by the 1880s, and when he published his article in the New York Journal, it was one of the first major public awareness campaigns on wildlife extinction.
He talked about how big herds were when he was young, his personal role as a commercial hunter, his regret, and a call to begin aggressive protection, particularly in Yellowstone. His incredibly popular Wild West Show brought buffalo to millions of Americans all over the country (often for the first time), and his article brought this issue to people with funds and political capital in NY and DC to make conservation happen.

It was Oshii's Urusei Yatsura that laid the foundation for otaku and moe. He was the guy that pushed for flashing Lum's tits in the first episode of the show! People just don't recognize his version of nerdy otaku indulgence because of manime and Toonamifag brainwashing

オリジナルの車両はソ連製造で60トン4軸平貨車をベースにT-34/76とT-70の砲塔（おそらくはT-26の砲塔も）を搭載したBlücher（ブルッヒャー）こと軌道保護列車。
ソ連からそれぞれを鹵獲しドイツで製造された可能性もあり。
1941年か1942年に製造され1942年にはドイツ軍によって運用されていた。
1944年秋にT-34/76の砲塔をIV号戦車H型砲塔に交換しT-70の砲塔からは砲身が撤去され指揮所として、後部には20mm4連装FLAK38が搭載された。
その際正規の装甲列車としてPanzerzug52に編入された。
1945年3月にソ連軍の進撃で拿捕されその後は不明。
