yes, i do and it’s actually more important than most people think the blue flame is what u want, what everyone wants. it means the gas is getting enough oxygen so it burns clean and efficiently. it comes from complete combustion which produces heat, carbon dioxide and water vapor... hotter, safer and better for cooking. the yellow/orange flame is a warning sign. it means incomplete combustion maybe cos the burner is dirty or airflow is blocked. that color can produce carbonmonoxide which is very dangerous for your health. it also wastes energy and gives you bad heat. learn something 👍

The chief driver of public debate, public opinion, and even culture in Nigeria is poverty. It is why it is impossible to have any kind of sensible public debate without it devolving into insults, clear sabotage even by those who stand to lose the most, and a complete muddying of the waters. It is why you cannot clearly tell what ethics or morality is in Nigeria. Because everything is driven by what the people involved are getting or hope to get. And of course this poverty driven public discourse and culture is not driven by poor people but by people who have the fear of poverty, of losing human dignity which can only be bought with money in Nigeria. The people afraid of poverty are more dangerous than those who are actually poor. It is those people who will travel abroad and see a functional electricity grid and come back home and ask you all to install solar panels to escape the reality. They are the ones who will take photos of themselves walking freely or even cycling through safe streets abroad and come home to praise idiot politicians for building one substandard road with no sidewalk, no bicycle lane. They are the ones who will enjoy liberties abroad and talk of how it is ok for a governor to commit small genocides if he is renovating primary schools with zinc roofs. They are the ones who will enjoy human rights abroad then come home and use the police to settle personal scores. Nigeria doesn't suffer from bad leaders alone. The culture is rotten to the core. And so public life is full of violence, greed, fraud and crime of every shade, across every layer of society.

Call me a pick me but this men in women's field trend has made me realize how silly some things we say as women sound.

I have always been of the opinion that any tradition, cultural practice, observance or festivity that restricts the free and legal movement of people has no place in the 21st century.

Only depraved people would applaud and give excuses for molesting women. Who in their right senses will think that women shouldn't step out of their homes because of a so-called festival? The government needs to step up to its responsibility by arresting and punishing the men

But hundreds of years later, some of these cultural observances are still being carried out with rules that do not belong to this day and age. What is happening in Ozoro, Delta state is very despicable and has no place in a modern society.

Most of these laws governing these cultural events were made when there was no 'civilization' or modern day enlightenment in this part of the world.

Nigeria is a patriarchal society, thus some of these cultural practices and festivals restrict and are very oppressive of the female gender.
