Honestly, being an artist can be so sad sometimes. You spend months working on your art and then you get like thirty likes. And there’s nothing you can do about it - you just have to move on

I saw a moot asking about Color so I made this in an attempt to simplify a few things. Color and Light are like my two favorite things when it comes to art so I really wanted to give it a shot. I hope it helps some artists!

@Inkalight Most of my connections are online tbh!! The animation subreddit was incredibly helpful to me, as well as making artist friends on twitter, and on discord. when I do meet people in person I make sure to ask for their email so we can still communicate when I’m no longer local.

Animation industry may be competitive but honestly everyone I’ve met has been super nice and so willing to help. I’ve had so many people in the industry offer portfolio reviews, zoom calls and coffee chats, I hope one day I can pay it forward

@Inkalight I mostly notice the color change when i use cmyk canvas and save the pic, not when screenshotting it wthhhhh 😭😭😭😭

iPads screenshots color warps colors?? This is a screenshot off of procreate then pasted back onto procreate and it changed the color?! First is the original color second is the screenshot pasted. Does this happen to anyone else?

🚨 Did you just see what YouTube did? YouTube isn't banning AI slop.. They're making you label it so they can train their next model to not look like slop. Read that again... You flag the bad AI content. YouTube collects it. Google feeds it into Veo 4... Then next year their AI generates videos so good you can't tell the difference... You're not the customer... You're the training data, we all are.. They got millions of creators to do free quality control on their next AI model and convinced them it was "a strong stance."

@celestibex Yeah color warp happens on so many sites I hate it, but the screen feature itself shouldnt have room for error it seems like it wants to darken every part of the color with screenshots so gd annoying
