@JuddadiahJohnsn @SemiBakedWife He might not even be a "legal resident" of the US...man, that sucks so much....sorry to both of you, must be so much stress, and a full gas tank... ooooh ....yeah, I get the acid, what a son of ...

@InkandSoil @SemiBakedWife He just kept on going. Couldn't even read his plate it was covered in mud and grime

@SemiBakedWife The guy with the scrap needs a big ticket and to pay for your damages. 😤
I'm glad you guys made it home. 💐

@InkandSoil It's amazing! If you encounter such luck again this year, I hope you will show me that luck as well. How cute would it be?

I think I know this whale!
I believe this is the one that washed up a year or two ago near where I live. Everyone in town went to see, but it was so sad - I didn't expect it to be so sad, but you felt a heaviness about its passing.

Did you know? The upper jaw of the sperm whale, Earth's largest predator, bears no teeth at all only hollow pits into which the lower jaw's teeth fit snugly.
English

@InkandSoil Oh! I hope that in a little more time, you will be able to meet her and her babies too.
How cute would it be? 🥰🥰

@TheTopRepost I mean, next up we'll be enhanced with chips and 6G tech so they have to take the stigma out of enhancement. That way people will say, it's just a few chips! It's not like I'm shot up with HGH! Normalization phase. That said, I'm totally watching. 😅 🏴☠️🦜

@CindySinor Gives me nightmares of trying to pronounce Dürer to my Austrian teacher.
It's very technical, but I kinda rather have whimsy.

@Mathew_Winters1 Mulberry - Oh my. We had a mulberry in the backyard of a cursed rental as a kid and now they give me the heebie jeebies.

"The Purpose of the System is What it Does"
1.) Cause massive amounts of environmental destruction despite options existing for better design in cooling, construction and energy management.
2.) Create massive unemployment and lower the standard of living across the board in all countries, while also creating shortages in every vital area of human existence thus creating further friction to reproduction and lowering population further.
3.) Open constant surveillance and AI judgement and also protection for the all holy data centers to keep the plebes from sabotaging them.
4.) Promotion of joining humanity to AI augmentation / 6G, you are the Internet. Flawed and unhappy? They'll have a chip for that.
5.) They can use the electricity to crack hydrogen and make just about anything from fuel to food - see Bill Gates faux butter and how they create it and then imagine that at scale. They used 'butter' as a test case, but it could be literally anything. So maybe the data centers will double as production centers or straight up be production centers, hard to say.
Using POSWID as the mental frame work, data centers appear evil and anti-human. I keep hoping I'm wrong. Just a thought, I don't like being so negative.

@InkandSoil @Rainmaker1973 Has anybody asked
What three things they do?
They are pushing these through way too fast, with no explanations.

A surprising shift in public opinion is underway: many Americans now say they would rather live near a nuclear power plant than a massive AI data center.
As AI demand explodes, communities across the country are pushing back hard against the rapid construction of data centers. These enormous facilities consume enormous amounts of electricity and millions of gallons of water daily, while producing constant industrial noise that disrupts local life. Residents also worry that the huge power demands will drive up electricity bills for everyone in the area.
In a striking reversal of decades-old attitudes, nuclear power plants are increasingly seen as the more acceptable neighbor. Modern nuclear facilities are viewed as quiet, stable, reliable, and far less disruptive to daily life than the power-hungry data centers.
This growing preference reflects a broader change in priorities. While nuclear energy once carried heavy stigma, many communities now see it as a cleaner, more predictable solution compared to the relentless and resource-intensive demands of the AI boom.
For an increasing number of people, the physical realities of the digital age have become more concerning than the atom.

@clairvoyant2035 @Rainmaker1973 Nothing about them adds up, I don't believe they're actually data centers.
English

There is free energy
Where do you think all these AI centers get their power?
10% from the grid for "illusion" purposes 90% from their free energy systems
The math for all their energy needs does not compute.
20 years ago, saw a permanent magnet generator powering a light bulb at a trade show
And this was built from some old guy in his garage.
English

@Rainmaker1973 I rather live beside an open dump with rats. I rather live beside a homeless camp of ill tempered drug addicts. I would rather live in a card board box. I would rather live on the moon than beside an AI Data Center. 👍🇺🇸

@TheTopRepost This is a proper southern breakfast! Gees, now I'm starving!
English

@SemiBakedWife That sounds amazing, but you're looking to move?
Forest behind my house is super spooky.
English

@InkandSoil My backyard goes down a little hill down to the "main" road (at least 30mph highest here). Along that hill, there are nothing but lots and lots of trees.
The deer coming to see what I got created an entire pathway along the back hill. In two places.
