My view is that yield bearing RWA products should be the driver of DeFi yields - sustainable, provably backed, and with strict controls on onward utilisation schemes (or certainly the companies handling such products do not accept other forms of collateral against those). The entire industry needs to grow up and focus on sustainable, real returns for investors and not cooking up schemes that the finance industry rightly got penalized for in 2008.
