This is Deimos!❤️ my best friend, my most loyal companion, and the biggest source of happiness and joy in my life. This is our story!!!! Born on August 13th 2022 in a litter of 9. This little bundle of joy came into this world. A German Wirehaired Pointer/Standard Poodle/Alaskan Malamute mix. Little did i know that soon our paths would cross. . . . . Originally, he was on hold for someone else, but that person ended up taking a different puppy. This happened 4 times to him, 4 times someone said that they wanted him, and 4 times they ended up taking a different pup. On November 20th, 2022, i went to pick him up. When i laid eyes on him, I knew that we were meant to be. I took him in my arms, and instantly, I fell in love with him, I knew then that this was the start of a most beautiful friendship. I took him home, and we began training and growing together. Every day, we would work on obedience and recall training, and as he got older, the training intensified, expanding into other areas such as walking without a leash, sit, stay, lay down, etc. We didn't stop there. From a young age, I would take him on tough hiking trails where he would develop the skills to climb steep rock cliffs, run down loose gravel declines, and practice leaping over obstacles and fissures. He quickly became strong and confident, taking on challenges i would set for him, and he would never disappoint, even though sometimes he was fearful he would overcome that fear with ease. He is one of the sweetest, most sincere, kindhearted canines i have ever come across in my life. Not a single ounce of nastiness in him. Intelligent beyond belief. . . . . He has outsmarted me on numerous occasions, forcing me to grow as a person and as a trainer. I am grateful and lucky to have such a wonderful and kind soul as my companion through this most interesting life. I have him on a raw food diet, I balance out the portions myself, a mix of rice, vegetables, meat, fish, organs and bones. He is a strong and extremely healthy boy. Everytime we have a checkup at the vet they always compliment me on how healthy he is and how soft and shiny his coat is. 😁 His name was inspired by my love of space and my knowledge of Greek mythology. Deimos is the smaller of the 2 moons that orbit Mars, and in Greek mythology, Deimos is the god of fear and terror and the son of Ares and Aphrodite. I want to say thank you to @Jurkowsk1Moon for sparking the inspiration to make this post. The effort you put into your art reminded me of the effort that I have put into and continued to put into training with him every day. 🫶

@SawyerMerritt EV owners already pay more for our registration and those fees apparently go towards the road fund. Not the hell will I be paying more ontop of that. They take so much from us already and mismanage the funds and then make us pay more. Fuck that.

U.S. House lawmakers have proposed ​bipartisan legislation that ‌would require electric vehicles to pay ​a $130 fee ​to pay for road ⁠repairs annually ​and $35 for some ​plug-in hybrid models. The House is working on a ​five-year highway reauthorization bill expected to ‌cost ⁠more than $500 billion ahead of the current law ​expiration on ​Sept ⁠30, 2026. Most revenue for ​federally funded ​road ⁠repairs is collected through diesel and ⁠gasoline ​taxes, ​which EVs do not pay. I think $130 is fair since over time there will be fewer gas vehicles on the road generating tax revenue, They'll need to make up the difference somewhere so they can keep repairing roads, etc. Full bill text in thread below:

Is FSD 14.2 getting dumber while 14.3 gets better? Over the last week ive had to intervene a lot more especially to change lanes and to not miss exits on the highway. Thats besides the navigation interventions.

@Tesla @elonmusk I hate doing this, I love FSD I really do. 91% over the last 15000 miles. The only suggestion I have is ask @googlemaps for help with your navigation. Very often I find myself having to intervene because your navigation is trash.

@mrfundman Wait untill they change ot up and say anyone that bought FSD outright wont get unsupervised and that they will have to pay a small monthly fee to subscribe to unsupervised

Unpopular opinion: Tesla should stop playing games with FSD transfers. Let everyone who paid full price and was an early supporter of the software ability to transfer it to new Teslas FOREVER.

@JorEl0369 @TechCrunch Totally understand that. Did a trip in 2024 from PHX to NYC all the charging stops were planned out with the onboard Nav and we had a great time. There was only 1 stop that we charged for 45mins and that was to full.

Depends on your own PERSONAL situation. I plug in every day. Get about 35 miles range all electric. That's driving to everywhere I need to go and back near my house. Groceries, shopping, movies...whatever. When I need to go further, it changes into an HEV and I can go where ever I want without stopping for 3 hours to charge up. Just gas up and go. Went cross country once (USA). My average MPG is in the 60's even with that trip where I never plugged in. Who would buy a PHEV and then never plug it in? It literally can fully charge over night on 110v standard outlet. If you but a PHEV and can't plug it in, like at an apartment, you're dumb...get an HEV.

@TechOperator He left out he part where he has to perform maintenance on his equipment to keep it running well. Those spark plugs and belts ware out over time. Time destroys everything

@niccruzpatane No . . . . . you're essentially being strong armed into another subscription. The value of your time gets slightly diminished because now that time costs a little more to get back.

I think Tesla Unsupervised FSD launches in the $199-$299 range, imo. You’re essentially getting back lost time to work, sleep, watch movies, play, etc. Plus, you’ll be able to send the car off autonomously to run errands. That time is very valuable for some.

Insurance is half price when Tesla self-driving is activated, because it increases safety so much

Tesla is a money printing machine and im almost certainly now that anyone who wants UNSUPERVISED will be forced into a subscription and FSD supervised will be left on the version before unsupervised.
