@SteveWps 1- healthcare is provincial, properly funded by the feds but just poorly administered by the province.
2- you could stop paying taxes. I would say you should also stop driving on roads, or using the electric grid, or relying on police fire services. Stop sending kids to school

Just got my pension statement,
I worked 3,425 hours last year.
That's an average of 66 hours a weeks.
1815 of those hours I worked for no income, I gave the government 1815 hours of my life last year.
Just so I have the privilege of waiting in the emergency room for 14 hours when my appendix has ruptured.
I feel like working hard and being honest in British Columbia is almost like throwing your life down the toilet.
Price is what you pay and value is what you get, I don't find much value for my 1815 hours.

Every single part of your life would get better if we deported 100 million people who don’t belong here.
Prices on everything would go down, wages would go up, homes would be available, everywhere would be safer, traffic and air travel would be quicker. The list never ends.

@InsanityTrials @gamefandave @WndowsSucks Yeah, when I started it was a significant pay drop, I had to do side work for a few years. But home construction stopped in 2008, so I had to do something else.
There are other ship yards that have apprentice programs, but not in AZ!

@InsanityTrials @gamefandave @WndowsSucks They could, but it probably balances out since apprentices also get some college courses and more opportunities for advancement after finishing the program. Many go into QA, project management, or engineering.

Start at $18/hr and after 4 years you're at about $32/hr.
Not bad for someone that didnt attend college and you can travel work as much OT as you want (for the most part)

The only caveat is where the government sets artificial barriers or constraints with regulation, overhead requirements, tariffs, etc…
