#Leafs send Groulx down for roster management reasons. He fit in well in the 3C spot. Could be a contender for a 4C spot with the club next season and at a nice cap hit of $812,500 in 26-27.

Well there you have it. The streak ends officially at 440 consecutive games. It appropriately enough ends while at an airport lounge. I’m least I’m not stranded and in my home city.

I haven't missed a #Leafs regular season or playoff game since the last regular season game of 2021. That streak is in jeopardy. But my flight is still scheduled for an on-time departure. The anticipation is killing me. I feel like I'm playing my own version of The Amazing Race.

Sunday morning update at Minneapolis Airport (@mspairport): -326 departures canceled today & counting - 70% of schedule -Delta has canceled everything until about 3pm -Last plane to land was shortly after midnight - funnily enough, carrying the Toronto Maple Leafs for Wild game

No surprise, but Evgeni Malkin gets a hearing with @NHLPlayerSafety for his high slash on Rasmus Dahlin. His history will be a factor in the length of suspension.

At this rate, the Leafs are going to have 3 of those "trades pending a trade call" after 3pm. Maybe we'll find out by 5-6pm if we love Treliving or hate him

I'll admit, when the Leafs were seeking a coaching replacement and landed on Berube, I was excited. How could you not be? A recent Cup winner, and a long-time NHLer with some serious snarl. Unfortunately, this is not a good fit. It might be time to move on.

@6ErikJohnson Likely one of the guys the Leafs are receiving a lot of calls on. May take some time to sort through the offers and also potentially speak with him to see what his preference is if there are multiple similar offers. A guy like Laughton deserves that, within reason.

Can't believe Scott Laughton is still out there. Contenders should be all over him. Low AAV. Does everything well and he is the ultimate team player. Adds so much for a team on and off the ice. Glue guy. Every teammate loves him. One of my favorites. Feel like he would be a great fit in Detroit.
