@cryptomatt1983 People like you should be removed from the space. You only do “memecoin-like” coin predictions. This is not what Kaspa is about. It does not help.

@red_alark This is the part that most people struggle to understand They cannot grasp how incapable BTC is until it is too late I calculated that if every CURRENT user only did one TX, the queue would be 4+ months long A disaster waiting to happen. We must warn them, or we are complicit!

BTC is based on lies & perpetuated by greed! As it is not useful, scarce, or secure in the long run... People are being sold a fantastical vision of BTC that is untrue! This mass collective delusion has pushed the BTC meme coin into the trillions; that can only end in tragedy

I think that it's fully deserved that 99% of the #Altcoins are going to zero. It's not like all of the internet companies from the Dot.com bubble survived. However, during that bubble phase, there's a lot of money made and coming out of the bubble phase, there's more interest into the asset and stronger protocols and real adoption happens. There's not been a moment in time like this where I've been so bullish about the future of Crypto.

Thank you, BTC, for kickstarting everything Thank you, ETH, for programmability Thank you, SOL, TRX, HYPE, BCH, AVAX, SUI, NEAR, ALGO, KAS, APT, ZRO, XTZ, SEI & more for making it scalable! We can even be thankful for the failures, as those lessons can be the most valuable! 🕊️

@keenandotai The best chain is the one that can do everything As it creates a "virtues cycle" There is no technical, social or economic reason not to combine all aspects in one At the end of the day it all comes down to who can offer the most secure, decentralized, cheap & fast blockspace!

The reality of crypto: BTC = Unsustainable meme coin ETH = Committed to remaining uncompetitive USDT = The biggest fraud ever! XRP = Totally centralized ADA = The most decentralized ghost town HYPE = "Decentralized" XMR = "Secure" CC = Not even crypto! SUI = "Unallocated" supply

By 2032, Kaspa will exceed Bitcoin’s market cap. You know why? Because AI favours speed over legacy. And Kaspa is built for the age of machines.

$BTC bro. You are done. Cooked. Toast. EL finito. You had a hell of a run - well played. But now it is game over. It always was based on hype, not fundamentals. Now that the mo is gone, all you are left with is the chart and narrative. You can’t defend the valuation. Nobody can. Four year cycle, stock to flow, digital gold - what is the next BS narrative? I can’t wait for the haters to go nuts in their responses to this post. The ad hominem attacks, the profanity, the hate - that is the way you roll. Are you capable of fact based, civil discourse? Most unlikely. Or will you just embarrass yourselves because you can’t be polite. It will be my pleasure to block every single one of you. The X audience will delight in your display of hate and ignorance This will be glorious.
George Noble@gnoble79

Well, that escalated quickly. Number no go up no more. Digital gold they said. Store of value they said. Medium of exchange they said. So much for the stock to flow model. It always about narrative and momentum. You were warned. Have fun getting poor. $BTC #Bitcoin

Seeing a lot of “crypto is crashing”, “Bitcoin is backed by nothing”, “floor is zero” takes again… Can we pause for a second? Bitcoin and “crypto” are NOT the same thing. Bitcoin is a neutral, rules-based monetary network with a fixed supply. It wasn’t pre-mined. It doesn’t have a VC allocation. It isn’t a casino token. Most of the horror stories people point to come from leverage, opaque products, yield schemes and thousands of speculative tokens built around the broader crypto industry. That’s not the same thing. Bitcoin’s value proposition is different: censorship-resistant, borderless money with no central issuer. It’s ok to dislike it. Or disagree with it. But we can’t analyse it honestly if we keep throwing it into the same bucket as everything else.

So, let me get this straight.. $BTC is hard money, but L1 can’t scale for everyday use (digital gold) $ETH isn’t fast or cheap without L2’s. $SOL is fast, but isn’t PoW and isn’t build for “minimal trust” money So what do we use as fast, decentralized, PoW cash? Kaspa.

If Apple shares dropped near to $0. I would buy up all the shares, own 100% of the company, fire Tim Cook and make myself chairman and CEO. I would collect $112 billion in net profits every year and give all my friends free iPhones and MacBooks for life. If Bitcoin dropped to near $0, what would I do with it if I bought all the bitcoins in the world ? Stare at the cute computer code? That is the difference between a productive asset and a non productive asset

@IntroMax17 @TheDesertLynx Awesome technology. Very surprised it doesn't get more attention. I used to own a pile of it, but sold out most of it because it was going nowhere. I still have a KS0 Pro and KS0 Ultra mining in my utility room.

Literally every point here is a lie. You can not just "fire up a Lightning wallet." You need an on-chain transaction (money and fees) just to create one with receiving capacity, let alone sending. The tech is not "so good." Countless blockchains have instant finality but actually low fees, and don't require custodians, liquidity nodes, well-connected and funded/balanced channels, etc. Increasingly, the Bitcoiner adoption strategy: just straight up lie about everything.

Very cool. I think extended UTXO (covenants + scripting engine) is a great direction for Kaspa. Together with ZK opcodes, they could enable very interesting models of programmability layers (e.g., canonical exit bridging for based rollups) and many other high-profile applications well before vProgs are completed. This could provide much-needed leeway for adoption while preventing the vProg design from being rushed. When I was still involved, I used to argue that Kaspa should aim for on-chain support for a limited set of high-profile applications, as well as utilities for sequencing off-chain programmability to enable arbitrary functionality. This will truly provide a "best of both worlds" environment suitable for a multi-purpose chain like Kaspa. (I do not ascribe to the concerns that other forms of programmability layers "undermine" vProgs because a. there are sufficiently many applications where vProgs don't make sense, and b. If they do make sense, and everything is built properly, migration should be reasonably complex.) The efforts we've seen so far -- vProgs and based rollups -- concentrate on the latter. Glad to see Ori carry the flag on the former. It might come off less "sexy and innovative", but it is just as important, if not more, for near-term adoption. There are many cool applications out there built on similar capabilities, and it would be a joy to see them migrated/ported to Kaspa.

I'm happy to announce Silverscript! (Link in reply) Silverscript is Kaspa's first high-level smart contract language and compiler. It enables DeFi, vaults, and native asset management directly on Kaspa's L1. The language syntax is based on CashScript, but adds essential features like loops, arrays, and function calls. It specializes in managing contracts with local state (UTXO model), serving as a complement and infrastructure layer for vProgs (shared state). Note: Powered by new script engine features recently enabled on Testnet-12. The syntax is experimental and might evolve. Please try it out and give feedback!
