Without this utility, the dollar is just a useless piece of paper (or bits in a database) that has no intrinsic value to anyone's lives, and could (probably would?) be gradually phased out for something more intrinsically valuable like, perhaps, a commodity-backed stable coin. This is why dollars had to be backed by gold before the mass implementation of the income tax after ww2. Prior to the middle class income tax, people would have not assigned value to a fiat dollar if it had no intrinsic value to their lives.

It's not rape exactly they are after, that's just an easy label to slap on the desire. They want plausibly deniable situations created for them by a 'bad boy' who knows what he's doing. I don't understand people like this. Did you just memory hole being a child? You don't remember at all how it was? Kid picks on you - often randomly and without provocation. You tell teacher/authority. Authority offers some useless mitigation - separates you, makes kid stand at the wall for 5 minutes, etc. The bully returns from ineffectual punishment more mad and spiteful towards you, teases you for being a weak tattle tale, bullying intensifies. Literally your only option is to stand up for yourself. It's the only thing that works. We've all been there. We all went through it. Why become an adult and suddenly pretend that you don't remember?
